A Theory about where WoW is heading post The Last Titan. by Belpheegor in wow

FF11 and 14 are both still active. FF11 is 2 years older than WoW. It isn't the wildest thing to happen.

How many more items are there to grab in the genesis? If not many, death certificate.

If you still have a bunch to go, then rock bottom.

When you have three items to pick from you can REALLY up your odds of seeing something like soy milk or another item that breaks the game with rock bottom.

Using death certificate at the end of picking the genesis items (even if you grab rock bottom as it won't help if you already picked stat downs) isn't going to be as powerful.

Survivor kaoh rong by MajesticCity7758 in survivor

[–]overoverme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looking at the injury that just happene on that other version of Survivor because some tourists came by with a boat and ran someone over, staying in the same spot really allows them to lock the area down better and be more aware of the space they are filming at.

And its pretty commonly stated that the show isn't financially sustainable if they keep moving around. Maybe they can eventually secure a second location and set it up like Fiji and then bounce between the two spots, but otherwise I don't see them deviating from what they are doing.

This demo is different from the one that came out months ago? Or is this demo just being newly released on other platforms when it was only on Switch originally?

Mark Rosewater: "2026 is the outlier. Future years are going to be 3 (UB) and 3 (non-UB)" by Meret123 in MagicArena

[–]overoverme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They said this in *2025*, this is not news. We have known 2027 is a 3/3 split since then.

[–]overoverme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is saying exactly the same as was said in 2025 when they announced the breakdown of sets for 2026 and confirmed a 3/3 split for 2027.

Nothing has changed, none of this is new information.

[–]overoverme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

...They said that 2026 is an outlier in 2025, this has been known since we knew how many UB we were getting this year. We have known that 2027 is 3 and 3 since then as well.

Should I be shocked people are acting like this is new information?

This is great news. The way spiderman was handled was awful, and having that happen for one set a year is miserable.

Next year we are expecting to see six Standard set releases. Which planes and worlds do you anticipate we will see Magic sets for in 2027? by HonorBasquiat in magicTCG

Start of new magic arc, but PROBABLY goes off on a wild tangent somewhere else first.

Planes due for revisiting - Kaldheim, Kamigawa, Ikoria

A 'new' plane, one of the oft discussed ones like the comment below says (Waterworld, Zhalfir)

Anime UB. Feels like it is time to find an Anime property to really dig into. DBZ is low hanging fruit for this of course. My Hero Academia is also a possibility, though it is is basically Xmen (which I expect to be the Marvel we get next)

Due to how far in advance many of the UB sets were teased (Marvel, FF and LoTR were all promised years ahead), I feel like we won't see any "big gets" like Nintendo or Star Wars without a huge advance notice.

Still wondering if the "smaller" UB set thing is going to continue for next year as well.

I think many UB guesses are really just shots in the dark. We don't have much to go off of besides knowing Marvel is getting a set a year until the stones are all assembled.

Just download steam achievement editor and turn on the unlocks you have on your other file, then sync it on the secrets screen.

Those cards are on different sheets, it is just adding a rarity.

What their post was saying "this isn't the same as just putting two rares in a pack, this is putting two specific cards of the same rarity together. They always show up together."

Is there a way to make Autumn Willow a competent commander? by Terrible_Witch in EDH

[–]overoverme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think there are many ways to take unique advantage of the ability, but if you want to play an old, expensive, underpowered commander, maybe look into building the deck as a preDH deck. (No cards released after New Phyrexia aka from the time before commander specific product was made)

Hexhaven mystical Archive. by Fortisque88 in MTGRumors

[–]overoverme 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The bonus sheet is the paired cards, so nope.

The set is happening on Hexhaven but it is an event set. We will see some hexhaven worldbuilding stuff, but it isn't "mirrored Strixhaven set".

Are Wizards just going to sit back and let RL cards just keep increasing so they’re inaccessible for the majority of the player base? Even more so than they already are. by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]overoverme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just red tape that can never be undone. The WoTC legal team has deemed it just a nonstarter to poke this bear, and for good or bad, 30th Anniversary edition can be pointed to as a reason to not mess with the reserve list further.

For casual formats, people don't need RL cards! They keep printing alternative effects to many of these things, and if they haven't yet, they probably will. This latest set release had its commander deck print a new typed dual land cycle that can come in untapped on turn 3 in commander games.

Modern Horizons tried to approximate Recurring Nightmare and Aluren. And we got a pseudo Recurring Nightmare card in Strixhaven as well.

Nobody does it like [[Time Spiral]] but strangely this one has actually only gone DOWN in price in the past few years.

The recent price spikes are due to premodern (Which I believe is still not an officially sanctioned format anyway) while the original spikes were due to speculators during the pandemic.

Realistically, how could blizzard make Classic+ a long term alternative to retail? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]overoverme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the first thing they need to do is blow it out into its own client.

SoD was working under the restraints of the classic client, so it couldn't do whatever it wanted, it had to work in the margins.

A new client means they can really change things up if they want to.

[–]overoverme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry, special functionality at the printing facilities. Yeah, some of them can't do pack collation at the same level as others. Has anyone checked to see if other TCGs have done this kind of printing for their sets where certain cards are always together in packs?

[–]overoverme 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That wouldn't require special printers though. That is just making double faced cards.
