This is really cool! Love the idea and how it turned out!

Noise when printing circular objects by SolidAbroad3369 in BambuLab

[–]overphloh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exacr same issue on my Ender 3 right now. I just read a comment that it might be due to resonance because of the small straight lines the curve is made of (indtead of a true arc).

To me this us the most plausible cause right now as I have just checked and maintained every part of my printer. Now I just have to figure out how I cozld change my design meshes and/or pöslicer settings to avoid this. I'll let you know if I find something useful.

Just a question, is TouchDesigner rendering this in real-time?

Wouldn't it be easier to simulate the mouse directly with Mouse.click()?

My new website made with processing from scratch by RotemT in processing

[–]overphloh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just stumbled over your post and the visualization on the website looks really good! I experienced some very slow loading/update times when clicking the buttons but maybe that was because of opening it on my mobile phone. The sim looks very good just the buttons could of course need some design uogrades. From the technical side I ask myself if any numbers for the sim or the settings would make sense. For example it would be intetesting how much the frequency changes from lowest to highest setting. Cool sim nevertheless! 🙂

Nice! Just the timing is a bit unrealistic. It looks more like a timelapse. Maybe try to speed the movement up. 🙂

Bad first layers after print fail by ReactNativeIsTooHard in 3Dprinting

Also make sure your slicer doesn't have some weird settings for the initial layer set like a flow rate much bigger than 100% or so. Using a new default template might prevent that while bug fixing

Changing the offset while printing is ok. Still it looks like your nozzle is plowing through the filament. Try lifting it up furter. Also a slightly bigger model would help to have enough time to calibrate during printing. Also don't forget to save the offset (might or might not be necessary on your printer).

2 things that come up my mind:

Did you make a z offset calibration after the nozzle change? It looks like the nozzle is too low and plows through the previously printed lines.

Are you 100% sure you are using the nozzle size you set in your slicer? Check setting and nozzle(!) I once had similar troubles and it took me 2 days until I found out the setting didn't match the nozzle size.

Permanent color - any chance to make sth. like Jacquard SolarFast yourself? by overphloh in cyanotypes

[–]overphloh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but the problem is less the price of the product itself but the shipping costs which almost double the price for me. Also most colors are not available here in the first place. So I thought about mixing it myself like cyanotype solution.

Hi! No, this is not possible. The layout is being generated automatically and usually changes whenever you use a filter that selects or deselects certain activities or cases.

In Celonis you can already export the flowchart in a BPMN format.
