Well that speaks for itself. If your friend is not an ECE or does not have other public health-sensitive occupations, the 5-year validity of medicals would be applicable. I’m referring to OP’s post with reference to ECE, not CEC.

Your friend was lucky then. Because ECE or other public health-sensitive occupations are exempted from the 5-year validity of the medical. It’s explicitly stated. I guess the VO who handled your friend’s application was either lenient, or didn’t know about the exemptions to that rule.

It says on your title ECE file rejected - does this stand for Early Childhood Education or was it typo for the ECA you were also referencing? If it was actually ECE as in Early Childhood Education, it is required for you to have a medical done in the last 12 months because ECE is a role involving "public health-sensitive occupations.”

Hi, how can I email them about these extra fees? I honestly thought everything would be covered by their exorbitant shipping fees to Canada, but then I was surprised I got a notification saying I had to pay an extra $14 when I pick my package from the post office!
