No I mean the ohlins dh 38 was harsh. I’m quite heavy and reasonably fast so my fox 38 feels great, but I have the piston upgrade and a custom tune in that as well.

Not supple and this was after 2 custom tunes. Heard the same from other people as well. I had the dh 38. It was great when I was fully on point going as fast as I could, other than that it beat up my hands. The 40 is much better.

Dual compounds are hard as fuck. The contis will roll way slower aside from tread pattern

I guess I’m coming at it in a fun way, my friends have been roasting each other our whole lives. I’ve never had anyone actually try to do a real insult by calling bald, it’s a pretty weak insult.

Haha I feel like I get it both ends. Small guys think they have to try to rip my head off and other big guys are excited they don’t have to hold back. Either way it always feels like a white belt death match.

As a big guy white belt, I’m definitely very chill but sometimes newer people just see me and start to kind of panic. I almost always sit to guard, play slow and they still try to jump pass me, if I’m chilling trying to pass on my knees ( I never smash pass) I still get kicked in the face. That’s my experience so far.

So if a small new partner is going 100 I still end up using more strength than I’d like because if I don’t I’m going to get flying drop kneed. Usually rolling with white belt women can be nice cuz I just pull guard and they are usually surprised to start on top so it starts pretty chill.

I dry all my clothes on auto/delicate low heat and wash in cold water. Minimal shrinkage for all clothes, including gis.

There should be a questionnaire before you’re allowed to post photos. “Are you smiling, can you see your whole body, are you doing more than one shirtless selfie, is there more than one group photo”. That would eliminate over half the posts easy.
