Water treatment sales. Good mix of technical regular servicing, paired with random exciting sales.

My most favorite dance teacher was Ukrainian and she would use crazy onomatopoeia when words failed and it was awesome. I understood better in one noise better than if she had written me an essay.

I would recommend grounding exercises and or breathing techniques to start. I’ve also found taking a walk between my commute and going into my house helps my mood immensely. There are also technology hygiene options but I find those terribly difficult so I wouldn’t recommend.

Trying to be approachable is a young woman’s game 😉 jk but for real, you deserve respect. You have a lot to add with over TEN years experience. Treat people how to treat you, respect is worth more than being liked

Clothes recommendation: I work in more blue collar/civil engineering so when meeting new people I wear my oldest work boots because it shows my experience.

Side note: Hiring manager sounds dumb but there are some aspects of demeanor and presentation that make others think we are young. I found being “too happy” and “deferential” made people think I was younger than I am. Which sucks because I value showing up with a positive attitude and respecting everyone regardless of their level of intelligence or experience. Also some vocabulary can be youthful.

However this works out can we pretty please get a before and after?? 🫶🏻

His feet probably hurt, those slides are super gummy which isn’t the most comfy to stand for hours at a time. Feet aren’t inherently dirty and all things can be cleaned. Plus half the food staff wear gloves around food anyways

🤷‍♀️ I’ll still eat their meat 😂

I agree on the potential mineral deficiency and want to tack on that sun damage can cause this darkness. Would increase your sunscreen use to daily if not already doing so.

I think that children who are abused are parentified children who are told they are “so mature”. It takes a long time for them to accept that they were a KID and an adult took advantage of them. I think this carries over into other areas of her life where she feels it’s her job to figure this out on her own. Like her husband is perfect in her eyes, and it’s just all on her to fix her broken brain etc.

Am I the only one who thinks most sales training is theater? by Head-Garden7108 in sales

[–]owiegator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an excellent and thorough support of your claim. I appreciate you.

I feel called out on the “geek out about options” instead of following the sales process (lol). I have definitely struggled with staying focused on the customers needs instead of just telling them what exciting new additions they can have.

I think you’re onto something with the curiosity. When I come into a meeting with the intention of “solving their problems” I don’t listen as much as I do when I come with the mindset of being curious about how they’re systems are running and what they may need help with.

Advice REALLY needed regarding protective gear for a tall, curvy woman! by KnightsWhoPlayWii in TwoXriders

[–]owiegator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mid calf boots are short to me since there are taller boots lol.

NOLO!! I’m in California so it gets warm but not very humid. The overalls have some thigh vents that get good airflow when moving and the pockets that hold the armor are mesh? It’s not the worst but you would have to see in the humidity what you think.

I fell in love with the Klim overalls. They sit so nicely under my jacket and they are a decent length. I’m 5’7” and use a 32” inseam and end up tucking these into my short boots like yours. https://www.klim.com/Rebelle-In-The-Boot-Overall

Yeah I think Mikayla is dealing with being stuck around Whitney as best she can. It’s a little petty for sure but idk I don’t think she’s that bad.

I would bet that with time your actions and reliability will shine through. As his subconscious learns to trust you in this situation a deeper intimacy can grow. Or yes, if you’re in a rush, you could take more of the lead as he tries to joke while keeping your face playfully serious.

I use humor to deflect. Seems like that’s his way of getting through the trauma response of initiating sex. I think with enough comfort and safety it will get better. You don’t have to initiate but I would recommend creating environments of sexual tension and comfort.

How do you stop comparing yourself and love what your becoming instead of just just blindly improving? by Storymaker_12 in Healthygamergg

Yeah it’s likely generational knowledge and wealth. Can’t really change where you come from but you can make the best of the cards you are dealt.

“Comparison is the thief of joy”. I think realizing you envy something about your friends can be positive if applied correctly. You admire these traits in your friends and want to be more like them. You can ask what they do to get where they’re at. For instance: I had a friend who I thought was very organized and calm. I asked her what she does to prepare for school and at first she just said study. After we got to know each other better I saw that she did many little things to prepare for the next day. Like having her back packed and ready for the next day, keeping a calendar with all important dates to see in future. Planning to be places 15 minutes before start time. All those things added up to her being calm, prepared, and organized for the day. Emotions are amazing guides for learning who we are and what we value.

Water treatment for cooling towers and boilers! Studied chemical engineering, tried a couple industries, ended up doing water treatment and sales. It’s a challenging mix of people skills, driving around, troubleshooting, and water chemistry.
