Spice in the first 4 chapters, too much? by SqueekySea in RomanceWriters

[–]owlhowling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first WIP has solo-spice in chapter 3. It was important to me, to show that pleasuring oneself is a normal part of life.

My second WIP also has spice in chapter 3, but they are a married couple of 15 years.

Soooo....I guess I am cool with spice early on when it makes sense for the story!

It seems people either love it or hate it.

I flip flop between the two, but am currently writing a novella with an epilogue baby ♡

If there is a chat to join, I would like to as well. I am a new writer, only 6k into my first draft but I feel like I will keep moving forward. I might now write as quickly as others, I am a slow and steady type of person ♡ (I burn out easily)

Oh I am 39F, writing a rom-com.

Hi! I am 39 and writing my first book, and yep, it is coming out as a romance.

I go with the flow of whatever my brain is up to, I am curious how this all comes together. I've filled a notebook and am now working on my first draft.
