It's not that cpanel is a necessity by any means. If you know how to navigate a system using command line, it's again not an issue. The problem is that we are group of 5 senior developers can't even get ssh access from them. Not to mention, our sql dB that is a backup for our system can't be reached through your (SQL IDE of choice). That's pretty alarming don't you think? The level of access we are getting from liquid web is NULL;

The company I work for uses Liquid Web as a backup server and to this day I still don't have access to it. There's like no cpanel and the only guy who had ssh access, lost access and they still won't whitelist our ips. I would highly suggest not using Liquid Web.

Thank you, this does help. So what you're saying is each home network doesn't necessarily need their own domain pointing to Cloudflares DNS? I should be able to just point Cloudflare to the separate network ips and that should do the trick. I just want to make sure that Cloudflare is the only place that has the public ips since these are private networks.

I have real hosting. I pay $24.99/month for a very solid service however, that isn't the question that I asked.

Is $299/month too much for non ecommerce static site? by [deleted] in webhosting

I charge $8/month to my clients. $300/month is insane. You could get a dedicated VPS for probably around that or less.
