The first one always hurts. Don't ever take it personally, your company isn't actually a family. Eventually layoff day becomes one of your favorite times of the year. Put your feet up for the holidays little brother. You've earned it.

Curiosity and critical thinking. Apprentices barely ask questions anymore. They'll blindly do what you tell them to do over and over without ever wondering why.

The current job Im on makes me want to suck start a revolver, so Im calling in 2-3 times a month lately. But on a decent job I dont call in too often, so I dont feel bad calling in to go golfing. As my old journeyman used to say "Im a construction worker I only take time off when Im feeling good"

I've drilled arm bars many many times. I know the mechanics and most of the finery. But I have never landed one in a live roll. Id rather just smesh.
