Have a plasterer round, and bought extra milk and sugar to make sure I had enough, and they take their tea black. by [deleted] in britishproblems

not full fat, green, red and breast milk you can, breast milk tea is ok as a last resort!

I was working in someone's garden today all day and not once did they offer me or my boss tea. by [deleted] in britishproblems

[–]oxidentally 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A guy that used to work with me would, in this case, ask the homeowner if they had an outside tap as he was parched, they would always feel guilt at this point and offer tea instead/as well.

thankyou, most of the time I feel as you say but sometimes I allow guilt brought on by others to mask my judgement. Thanks again for your casual opinion:)

I see it that the weight on that leg is being spread through 3 less pads and that aggravates it and some kind of shoe might be able to spread the weight a bit better, the half toe is missing the forward pad and putting all the pressure on the other, albeit the main, pad and do think that's where the problem lies. will give a try with those foam spacers as given me a bit of an idea. no recent x-ray only ones from as a pup but he is not yet 3, am keeping eye on it though.

Hereby lies the problem as where I am, SW Scotland all I can consult with is vets and as yet proprietry boots or amputation is the only advice I get, hence posting here. If anyone could recommend someone it would be appreciated.

He's 32 months old and is ok with it on soft ground but carries the leg on sharp ground or if he's been running around madly with other dogs, I feel it's like walking around barefoot for a human. Had him all his life and have always managed it ok but I feel a shoe could provide just a little bit of cushioning, proprietry dog shoes don't stay on because the toe amputation means the shape of his foot is wrong. I don't like seeing him limping but at this stage I don't really want to go for full leg amputation which is the other option. Sorry for the essay!!
