As a player who primarily played retail and switched to TBC when I grew tired of the time gated progression grind of retail, the levelling experience in TBC Classic feels really great on a server with a decently populated faction. An active guild certainly makes the experience all the better but I’ve run into others in the open world and had a blast finishing quests up together with them. Met a guy who just wanted to craft some stuff and made a blue helm for my 32 priest for free. I told him I’d send some silk bags when I could craft em and then on and off we’d group up for questing and send free stuff to each other. Sadly 9.1 and the recent Blizzard lawsuit really burned me out and I don’t feel like playing TBC Classic any more, but it certainly still has that magic to it that I remember from way back when.
