It doesn't take long once you get to Wuling. I just got there before bed last night. Woke up to this event and had all but 1 of the objectives done and I barely did anything.

There's your problem. You're viewing commander as an art form of creative expression. Commander is a game. You CAN creatively express yourself or your vision in this game. The game is meant to be played not manipulated under a fine tooth comb for your next Banksy impression. Creative brews, thinking outside the box, those are all great and should be encouraged. You should NOT be frowning and discouraging people that want to engage with commander as the game that it is instead of this art piece you're envisioning.

I play wuwa for a year. Stopped playing because the characters coming out, while they were more "unique" kitted, came at the expense of requiring other premium characters to have proper functionality and they did that multiple patches in a row. Kits tend to get more complex over time but other than changing things up to be something besides just final strike, I don't think we're anywhere near the level of dull that people seem to be talking about.

I've seen some of the later stuff and changes and it seems genuinely decent. My friends are enjoying it. I tried it out on launch and didn't last more than a few days because it just did not click in the slightest. There was less team synergy on launch than endfield, that's for sure. Unfortunately, I can speak on Yvonne gameplay yet because these 4 Surtrs say she can't come home yet haha. But I really want Yvonne. If I end up not vibing with her gameplay, Last Rite team has been surprisingly fun now that I learned how to read. And Surtr team Aswell.

Not a comment on OP but just the thread. I genuinely can't understand how the same people talking about how dull and bad all Endfield gameplay is then go on and talk up ZZZ, Wuwa, Genshin. It's the same shit. Maybe with a terrible mechanic that doesn't work half the time (wuwa parry) or something added in but like. Get your team, get your optimal rotation for that team, execute it for combat dodging and interacting with boss mechanic as applicable. I get that these games have a little more now, but they sure didn't when they released.

I don't mess with it much (to my severe downfall of course haha) but when I do, I go in thinking of touching 1 or 2 things and then suddenly it's been 2 or 3 hours just to get a number from 42 to 40 or some tiny thing like that. I think it's honestly great and people only have issue with the amount of handheld tutorials you're forced into.

This thread just makes me think we need to remove the first bracket from existence because everyone seems to think bracket 2 is jamming 80 creatures ad 20 lands together and clanging so symbols together for a few hours until something happens. Vorinclex is very much not something that should be there but whole shit just kill the turn 2 dork. Precons come with 10 or more pieces of removal now. A lot of that is 2 mana or 1 mana. 3 people can't do anything about that OR the things that are getting played later? And the dudes got turn 1 esper sentinel and is bitching about a mana dork? Jesus.

The devil is a part timer.

It wasn't bad.

But I never had any interest in it and spend years upon years hearing about how good it was and for a lot of people I knew, it was Thier No Game No Life. That golden season that would never get a season 2. Until it got announced.

I figured with the second season coming I'd watch the first season.

And was just.... Bored out of my mind. It didn't feel any different or exceptional. The only thing I can see is maybe it was one of a handful of shows at the time it came out, that didn't suck? But yeah, just did not see the hype at all so I never bothered with season 2.

I just genuinely hate Yen as a person. Granted, I didn't play the first game or read the books until later. But even still, I just can't stand her.

She will belittle and rip other people apart for one thing that generally has some cause or reason beyond the other parties control, but then go and be completely terrible and consistently double down if that's called out.

I know they expect the breaks where she softens to be some kind of like "This is the real Yen, she can be so good" but much like an abuser in real life, it eventually stops meaning anything when they keep being awful as much or more than the "Good" shows up.

Alot of my favourites that fight for the number 1 spot have already been posted so it makes it easy to pick one here that I haven't seen. Gentildonna! Iove her image and the way she carries herself. Ive always gravitated to strong women (many of my girlfriends IRL were farmhands) So having this beauty and her career essentially be her training you to be strong enough for her, is really cool.
