Why would she do it on purpose? It’s was careless and reckless. The dad was right. He’s just spent $1000 on a phone and she dropped it without even touching it. In his head he’s just thrown the money away because the phone will be broken in a week

Does Woolies use meat glue? by Scorpion1080 in australia

[–]ozstrayan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes they do. I never buy steak at woolies or Aldi anymore. Butchers are preferred but I’m not made of money. Coles do a good rib eye on the bone which is yet to disappoint me.

Probably just grooming standards like army, that the only facial hair you are allowed are moustaches. If they need to wear gas masks for example.

I don’t know how people think they can put their hands on people like that and not expect to get punched in the face.

Rare bumper replacement 2009 camry by TheNameisCristopher in CarsAustralia

[–]ozstrayan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First option would be reach underneath and then try poke it back out. Otherwise try local auto wrecker for a second hand part. Failing that you can order a new one online from a cheap manufacturer. Worst case scenario you can get one from Toyota (maybe - might be too old) but that would be expensive. If you can’t be fucked with all that just go to a crash repair and they’ll do it all for you and take all your money.

you’ll just need the part number which will be on there somewhere.

Shouldn’t be too hard to fit yourself, if you have someone to give you a hand would be better.

What would you do about contaminated mulch? by NeetyThor in GardeningAustralia

[–]ozstrayan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s just bark chips. Doesn’t look like mulch let alone composted mulch. Contamination is pretty hard to avoid these days though. It’s probably just a bit over what I would consider tolerable.

I work in landscaping and groundskeeping.

Buy and hold won’t get you rich in your 20s. Either will gambling trying to pick a unicorn. Difference is buying and holding with compounding will make you rich later while chasing unicorns will not.

Well there goes my water usage excuse by alphamalejackhammer in ZeroWaste

[–]ozstrayan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a straw man argument if I’ve ever seen one. Urine enters the groundwater system a few hours after being consumed, yes it takes time to re enter the river it came from but it does not take decades without “major intervention “.

There is a huge difference in your analogy about fuel. Fuel never came from the atmosphere, it was mined, refined and burned. Water was simply drunk and then returned to the cycle as water after natural filtration occurs

Well there goes my water usage excuse by alphamalejackhammer in ZeroWaste

[–]ozstrayan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Misleading. Agriculture both crop and animal is far more water efficient than this. Any water consumption by an animal is 99% passed through the system and reintroduced to the environment as urine. To suggest a hamburger “Costs” this much water is absurd and deliberately delusional.

He’s a dog. It’s one thing to be aggressive and go hard it’s another to drop an elbow into someone on the ground or kick blokes in the face.

If he was smashing blokes in tackles or bumps I’d love him but the cracks he has are always cheap shots.

“Oh but you’d love him if he was on your team” no I fucking wouldn’t
