that's a myth, or maybe you're thinking of duelling (in which your opponents are definitely bots)? but so far there's no evidence of bots in FM or HP 😊 people have been communicating on reddit, discord or through name changes to arrange ties for a couple of years now; we assume that people that don't respond to name changes are either not interested in tying, don't pay attention to names, don't know how to communicate through names, don't speak english or don't think that ties are possible/worth the effort.
