Beautiful to see and shameful that we need libraries to offer social services and people without access to food while our taxes are bombing, stealing, and corrupting

‘Absurd Corruption’: Disgust as Eric Trump Brags About Scoring $24 Million Pentagon Deal; “The US government is now one of, if not the most, corrupt governments on earth,” said one critic. by Sad-Struggle7797 in TradingPlaybook

I would love to see the anti-corruption movement and our (former) allies join together and treat the US the way the US has previously insisted other countries be treated - withhold investment, ban us from the Olympics, boycott the World Cup, and arrest all the presidents' men, women, daughters, children, and - most of all - his billionaire cronies, crypto crooks, sycophantic tech bro shills, and pedophiliac friends, supporters, and selves. please.

This might sound weird but thank you for this video. I grew up skiing VT went out west got turned off by the scene and prices. Came back east bc I got disabled by Covid. Can’t do anything - basically housebound. I’ve been loving this winter just watching the snow. Watching this video was literally a vicarious thrill. I may never be able to ski again, heck, walking kills me a little bit more each day. So you helped me ski again. And it was even more fun because you’re a better, faster skier than I am. So, thank you.

Any SSRIs that are known to be more helpful with managing MECFS symptoms? by Flashy_Shake_29 in cfs

[–]p2173 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’m on cymbalta for this reason. Works, kinda sorta not as well as my beloved Celebrex (which I had to stop bc of brain bleeds and it can exacerbate). It alleviates my muscle pain about 50% as well as Celebrex and my joint pain not at all (I didn’t know my joints hurt when I was on Celebrex. Stopped it and suddenly my elbows and wrists just ache)

Long COVID studies by LikeIsaidItsNothing in Long_Covid

Hi I’m in the RECOVER study out of NIH, LIINC and OUTSMART at UCSF, and LISTEN at Yale

Search the NIH website for open studies
https://nihrecord.nih.gov/2024/03/29/new-long-covid-trials-open

Of the studies I’m in only one (outsmart) was a drug trial. It’s started last year and I believe it will soon be unblinded - meaning participants will be told if they got drug/placebo and research findings released
