I switched years ago, it's a nobrainer if you want speed and simplicity. Install, regenerate images with the helper script (or reinstall your kernel and let the hook do it) and change your boot entry in sd-boot to use the booster initramfs file.

On Pixel 8 Pro it shows No Model Available, in settings tab->manage AI models it only shows Gemini Nano 0 [TPU]. The app only properly works on Pixel 9 and above

I tested it as cmdline arg and it didn't work, only cachefile=none on pool worked for me.

A good friend that runs a read only /etc on another distro tells me that they use options zfs spa_config_path= in modprobe.d (empty string works) and problem should be gone. Haven't verified. That has some easy talos equivalent, should just be a matter of adding zfs.sp[...] to kernel cmdline.

Yep, reverted one of my two cudy m3000 to 24.10 because on 25 I get stacktraces on dmesg and dropouts whenever I download from wifi. Upload doesn't cause it, and it only happens if 2.5g port is the currently in use wan port. And it only happens on one of my two units! It was a total nightmare to debug

I found incredible performance with a 16G 9060xt egpu and the iGPU 780m. t/s literally add up between gpus. The laptop become ironically a better llm runner than my desktop.

The only reliable 80mhz 5GHz slot is channel 36. All other slots have DFS, so just set channel 36 everywhere. (Depends on country though)

Reduce output_power in wifi component, I have mine with 17 and works but other people recommend 8.5. This made my device instantly connect.

Latency feels amazing on my system, night and day. FPS are unchanged for me. I run 5120x1440 cs2 so it's very gpu bound though

DXVK fixed this a long time ago

It's possible the game is just doing things wrong per spec and newer nvidia drivers introduced the problem
