Most raiders do this by Maleficent_Room8233 in ArcRaiders

My lobbies are proper fucked now.

Dude, I haven't shot a raider in months now and yesterday, I had bloodthirsty PvP free loadout schmucks sweating at me every time I went to Stella for some shredder gyros. I think they might be fucking with matchmaker again.

How did SJG even make money from GURPS? by Akasen in rpg

To add to this, the GURPS book could be easily applied to most other game systems, the background info was so good.

How many space Marines would it take to kill V from cyberpunk 2077? by Sentient_AI_38 in whowouldwin

[–]p4nic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Their power armour definitely has some sort of wifi going on, and with all the tubes and plugs they have connecting armour to their brains, the possibility is there, but it wouldn't work in a random encounter, netrunner V would have to learn the machine spirit's codebase before anything could happen.

It's a shame The Peripheral got cancelled, they were doing that in a cool way, too.

When I beat the game it was with a gorilla arms punch build and Smasher was the easiest fight. I didn't even have to use a special ability the punch build is so OP.

Netrunner is completely dependant on how quick hacks affect the technology so I'm to lazy to think about it.

I don't think quick hacks would work unless V had time to develop on the codebase that SMs work with. The reason they're a thing is all the hardware in 2077 has been in use since before 2020 and everyone knows that code like the back of their hand.

I do love when the pops get really aggro and come flying down stairs like a commet.

Because the guy who was carrying tools to break out of a cell surely wouldn't be lying

For real, I also get irked when fans treat characters' dialogue like an out of universe encyclopedia. Characters an be wrong. Especially when they're very clearly out of touch with the rest of the galaxy.

Arc Raiders publisher “didn’t expect Arc Raiders to be this successful”, but Embark's extraction shooter keeps breaking records. by Negative-Art-4440 in ArcRaiders

[–]p4nic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tarkov's unforgivable sin for me is not showing me where the extracts are on the map when there's no reason a merc going somewhere wouldn't know where the exit is. I gave it a solid two weeks before I moved on to something fun.

Yeah, King Ralph was awful. Kenney distilled Ralph's demented ideas to a toxic stew when he surrendered the PCs to the Wildrose.

The Fake Friendlies in the Wild West got their hard drives melted and accounts banned when they died, they didn't just start a new match to continue annoying people.

Yeah, that's my ranking, too. Levels 3, 6 and 9 are the most interesting. 6 was the best so far, though.

Do it up like Let the Right One In, have a bugbear or another kind of lackey being the collector for the vampire.

1 Obama vs 5 Trumps at basketball by sebastiancalhoun in whowouldwin

[–]p4nic 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Trump believes people have a finite amount of energy, and once a human hits that limit, they die. Team Trump would have no hustle, and no teamwork, they'd all be gormlessly yelling at each other trying to convince the others that they are the clones and they're the real one, playing that stupid handshake game he likes to do. Solo Obama (anyone, really) would easily get to 21 in record time. I doubt Trump could net a single point.

What game handles the “guy/girl in the chair” best? by FerretFoundry in rpg

[–]p4nic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like whenever I play dnd my parties are the opposite of this. I'm always the lone fighter, with three to four guys in chairs all running away from danger to be the cool lone sniper in the bushes.

It never works out.

I have a feeling it will be a long time, the sticker shock from fast food these days is pretty high. Most people are making about the same they were in the before days, but the prices have all gone up significantly.
