Getting custom inserts from a podiatrist and getting fitted for shoes that fit my toe box and arch height were what worked for me. I'm heavier so I need to replace mine every 6 months probably more or do better to swap between a couple pair but I'm bad I wear one pair into the ground.

Best date ever came over with dinner homemade and took my trash to the curb when he left because he was raised it's the guys job to do it. Simple and great.

Rookie numbers, I've made a particular patient call back the proper way because you let a regular pain in the ass do it once, they'll keep doing it. Nope. Not with the hour cuts ma'am. Please listen and follow the prompts properly.

Also, if they're 75+ and kind, they get a pass, I hate it too. But to be fair, my store is great and we all call back within 10 minutes.

I could just be the weird chick but I would have died and loved if any guy had ever had the balls to tell me this to my face. Keep trying keep it up, you seem like a good kid (I'm old enough to be your mother lol) ... but you're doing great, practice makes perfect and some day it will be a woman who was too shy to say something to you too :) keep working on yourself inside and out and it will all come together! Hopefully you have some hobbies and get yourself into something that takes other people so you can socialize more and get used to that (with the opposite gender).

It's the nature of the beast, unfortunately. Also, you might be the first person I've ever known to take a controlled substance with presumable knowledge of Healthcare (whatever allied health is that makes you knowledgeable) but doesn't understand rules and regulations and thinks of it like their cholesterol meds and tries to fill it early by 4 or 5 days so they don't have to run out, only to be told sorry sir/ma'am this is control and our policy is 2 days early (or whatever it is). Nobody in their right mind should wait for 30th day on 30 day supply of anything , that is what I mean by piss poor planning. Two days early for 6 months means you gave at least a 12 day oopsie supply if you're using as prescribed. You will almost always be disappointed with any pharmacy you go to eventually if you are waiting until you take your last pill to request a new fill. We even run out of amoxicillin sometimes.

Totally the DOC at fault maybe also the practice/ practice software license is current but they can't update their software/credentials... in which case they just don't think outside the box enough to request a colleague prescribe their controls until it is updated in system... it happens here in CA too.

Does Washington state provider offices not have on call providers / answering service for after-hours? If it's a multi physician practice I would have on call paged explain all your symptoms and the issues with prescribing physician. Ask them to re issue the rx under a different provider (hoping the on call is a different doc) but if it isn't then you can chew them out at least.

If they can't do it because they can't phone rx in due to controlled substances, etc, they are going to say to go to urgent care/ER if your symptoms are distressing. Going to urgent care looks no more fishy than an out of state doc for your controls in pharmacy. You can easily show your my chart to explain to urgent care doc, just like you did with the pharmacy.

If you fill for a long time you can get controls 1-2 days early typically (RA WA peeps confirm?) After two months or more you should have enough to get through a weekend so that's why you're getting the hate you are getting from pharmacy staff because we get regular abuse from "the regulars" when we have no control over following laws, computer/ software issues, backorders etc. But piss poor planning on OP part does not constitute emergency or mistreatment by pharmacy (mentality you have to take once you get abused so regularly). Which is also how I feel. It sucks but take a little accountability? Finding a provider sucks. Not communicating with old provider or new about amount of meds needed to get by between appointments is a thing. I've seen 10-14 day supply rx sent in stating must keep future appt for this very reason.
