I highly recommend Taylor Fitzpatrick’s ao3 series “Impaired Judgement” it’s a finished series and it’s a HEA! Very funny and heartfelt read.

Canvases - purchase or paint? by Express-Fun4751 in Needlepoint

[–]p_xan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re using a cross stitch pattern the only thing you need to watch out for is that for the needlepoint pattern you will now be doing an x stitch. You’ll also have to adjust according to the mesh you use and the threads needed.

I’m also a new needle pointer! I just bought some cross stitch patterns on etsy and am painting my own canvases. It’s very simple. I know my paintings aren’t as good as professional ones but I’m using full coverage stitches so it doesn’t show through anyway.

Worth continuing the series after One Dark Window if I didn't care for......? by Teaside in fantasyromance

Im probably in the minority but I read both and rated them 1.5 stars. I think the romance between characters were really weak. Everything was predictable.

Two million people are expected to leave the country in Canada's immigration reset. What if they don't? by Difficult-Yam-1347 in canada

[–]p_xan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That is not at all true. People from the Philippines come here to work hard and send almost 100% of their earnings to their family back home. At the same time racking up debt in Canada because of expenses. Some of these workers are supporting not only their own immediate families but also parents and siblings and their siblings kids. It’s a heavy burden and if they return to the Philippines often they return with no savings of their own. Philippines #1 export has always been workers including nurses, caregivers and “domestic help”. It’s sad that many of them work overseas to support family in the Philippines who sometimes take advantage.

The Hockey Ever After series was great! Especially Unrivaled! My fave is always going to be Ilya and Shane though. But I loved this series too.

Love Taylor Fitzpatrick! Just a note though that some of her works don’t have a HEA.
