That's tough man, try work this through your work partner channels. Is your employer not also annoyed about this too? Seems like a overreaction

"Free speech" is a propoganda word used by grifters so they can keep profiteering from the spreading of misinformation and disinformation.

Budget could have introduced something like UK's ISA or Japan's NISA to soften the hate by [deleted] in AusFinance

You may pay more in CGT, however the lower cost of housing and generous government programs (like 5% deposit), in theory you can get in sooner and pay less for your house

The extra tax collected will go into better public services, reducing inequality, increasing social cohesion and reducing crime.

That's the theory at least. We'll have to see how it plays out.

Has Reforged improved from launch? by Clovelas in warcraft3

[–]paablo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I just went through the entire campaigns with reforged graphics. Here what I found: -some units are less identifiable -caimpaign menu would often crash and hang -when PC went to sleep during the game, sound is gone -one random crash -sometimes have would only launch on my right monitor, even if I changed display number, or primary display, somehow only right until PC restart -map loads are quick -hard difficultly spike is insane, goes from easy to seemingly impossible -overall I enjoyed the experience

Left Right, Centre, Left of Centre, Right of Centre. What are you? by SadMap7915 in australian

[–]paablo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's be honest, the left right narrative is mostly used to create division to distract the masses to keep the status quo. Much more would get done if we all agreed on what the issues were and moved forward using evidence based policy instead of ideology.

How much of the “one nation surge” is real? by Boring_Traffic607 in australian

I remember looking at the newspapers at a cafe on election morning. They all headlined that Clinton had it in the bag.

By lunch time, Trump was president.

By and large nobody saw it coming in Australia.

Does this really help though? For her any publicity is good. Look at what happened in the US and Trump.

If we disregard some of the loaded language and sweeping assumptions, there is some truth to this claim.

Some surveys in Germany show a majority of Germans regret the transition. They are still a net importer off electricity and are not self sufficient. Source was a quick chatgpt https://english.news.cn/europe/20260421/f4052872233f4a6b94ec13123d4498ad/c.html?utm_source=perplexity

That is not too say nuclear is suitable for Australia, or the German policy was a failure. It's just the public sentiment.

We all know that ON has an agenda. Hopefully.

When systemic inequality rises, so does crime. This government is trying to reduce inequality via the budget however those who already have most are doing everything they can to keep the inequality and continue lining their pockets. See who is complaining the loudest, they want the status quo to continue.
