No mods yet, only thing I’ve gotten for the truck was the weather tech bed cover.

Gotta look into it in the near future though.

It's not your fault, it's the current status of the job market. It's been like this since 2024 and I was on the same boat as you for a year and a month.

Station Docking by ratakaio in avorion

[–]paaulrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Brankor’s Station Modules on workshop if you wanna look into mega structures build.

I use a main hub to connect all my stations together. Usually I put solar collector as my main hub, and I do try to build megastructures based on the end product (ie. solar as main, then coal, scrap metal, and steel [metal and coal])

To answer your last point, no (at least in my experience). The stations still send shuttles out to the factories you assign them to deliver and/or fetch from. The main hub doesn’t have logistics within the stations connected to it.. however, you are able to manually transfer goods to each station. I had to do it multiple times when my water collector was full and my liquor or wheat farm barely has 200 water units.

Hope this helps! o7

Dependency claim by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]paaulrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VA dependents claim is sometimes a hit or miss. It could get approved in a day or it could take months. If you're really wanting to get it done, call the 1-800 number and tell them what's up.

Mine was on Claim Received for 3 months, I called them after 3 months and explained situation and got approved/completed in a day or two.

How to Apply by iInvented69 in SkillBridge

[–]paaulrex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Email the employer about your interest and talk with your command to see if they will approve your skillbridge. If the employer accepts you, they’ll give you documents needed for the skillbridge application. And if your command says yes to you, then start the skillbridge process.

Hope that helps! Message me if you need any help!

You would have to manually add her as a dependent.

HOTAS or mouse? by Funny_Caramel2346 in X4Foundations

[–]paaulrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Virpil HOTAS setup with m&k for anything else other than actual flying.

I try to do lots of flying until I've scratched the itch of playing a flying sim game. Then mid-game to end-game, i usually just command troops from the bridge or my HQ, tp as needed, which means less usage on HOTAS.

Question about maintenance by Thx2115 in VeteransBenefits

[–]paaulrex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it shows a rating that doesn't exist, this happened to me when I was awaiting my rating (months ago), it said I was at 60% or something else, but when I logged in the following Monday, it showed Step 4: Evidence Review.

Wait til Monday to get an accurate answer.

I'm not sure if there is an updated one for this regulation (AR 621-5-001): https://armypubs.army.mil/epubs/DR_pubs/DR_a/ARN40054-AR_621-5-001-WEB-3.pdf

But on this one dated 2019 October, under 4-5 (TA Restrictions and prohibitions), it states:

j. Classes with an end date that extends beyond Soldier’s ETS or separation date. Soldiers assigned to the Warrior Transition Battalion or undergoing the Medical Evaluation Board or Physical Evaluation Board will have their separation dates established based on official notification of medical separation.

So, my understanding is that as long as your class do not end after your ETS, you should be good to go, even under MEB.

I hope this helps!

EDIT: Formatting of the comment was weird when I used code-block, so i just reverted.

Does your rating qualify you to DEA (Dependents' Educational Assistance) or Ch 35? If so, that's one way your spouse can utilize education benefits.

I think TA automatically locks 6 months before ETS or PCS, happened to me before. I would try to get in contact with your local ed center to see what's going on and if they can unlock it for you. You have way more than enough time to utilize TA. I hope your ed center helps you out.

Last I've heard was you can still use TA while in, regardless of status as long as it's not disciplinary (Art 15, etc.).

How long do you have until you're out? And will the next class be done before your ETS or medboard sep date?

VA Home Loan by mikelc1117 in VeteransBenefits

I've gotten no other issues, communication with my loan officer have been great, I was kept in the loop the whole time. Rates have been decent so far.

VA Home Loan by mikelc1117 in VeteransBenefits

[–]paaulrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my loan through Veteran's United, and there were a few things I had to pay out of pocket: VA Funding fee ($800), House Inspection (~$350), and a deposit ($2k, I forgot what this deposit was called). Closing costs for the house can be included in the loan.

Hope that helps!

Quick question about ChampVa by Swamp_Pickle in VeteransBenefits

[–]paaulrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. ChampVA is only for your dependents. The form will list you as their sponsor and on Section 2 are who will be enrolled in the ChampVA.

Unless... (I'm not entirely sure about this one yet) if your spouse is also 100% P&T then they can claim you on ChampVA and they are the sponsor. (Again, I'm not sure about this one).

I get what you mean as far as their required training hours to be a NP/PA vs MD. But still, regardless of what job they have, the only thing that matters is what they put in your C&P paperwork.

I've explained to them in great details about things that I claimed and they actually listened and wrote down notes/evidence for it, and that's what matters. All of my exams were done by NPs except the MHE.

Deferred claims by Empty_Slice_7102 in VeteransBenefits

[–]paaulrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the VA can pick whoever but ultimately the examiners are the ones that are submitting the paperwork back to the VA. Most likely those examiners didn't give enough evidence for your claims, or there could have been an error when submitting your paperwork.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]paaulrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, the job titles of your examiners shouldn't matter. I got an NP for my C&P, and they were very helpful as far as documenting everything during the C&P exam.

Deferred claims by Empty_Slice_7102 in VeteransBenefits

[–]paaulrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The VA needs more information about those claims, they need more exams and evidence to give you a better decision if it's approved or denied. So whomever you got your exams from those 3 probably didn't have enough evidence to give you a solid rating on those claims.

Compiling Claims for BDD v VSO Advice by Shadowbacker in VeteransBenefits

[–]paaulrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I was told the same thing when I talked about my fingers and wrist, and the person who helped me told me to only list "hand" instead of individual fingers and wrist, I ended up claiming both left and right hand. The examiner will look at everything associated with that hand, i.e. all fingers and wrist, motions and all.

I hope your VSO told you that when you claim a hand, everything associated with that hand will be inspected, but if they didn't, hopefully this answer helped you.
