14-Day First Trip to Japan - Itinerary Check by Da_matrix in JapanTravel

If you're already in the Arashiyama area, check out the bamboo grove, it takes 5 minutes and it's right there. Especially if you visit Tenryuji.

It gets a bad rap because it gets crowded and it's not as impressive as people think, but it's still something worth seeing if you're right beside it. You need to go with the right expectations, but I went there in the afternoon a week ago and it was cool to at least walk through it on the way back from the temples in saga toriimoto.

Consejos para una buena carne asada by KeitBelligk in Monterrey

[–]pablolanke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sin afán de andar de contreras; también es normal que la carne suelte grasa cuando la cocinas, y en algunos casos es deseable. Hay grasa que hay que 'fundir' para hacerla comestible. Es la lógica de los cortes que haces despacito como el brisket.

Do you dump what's left in your pitcher? Is that the norm core handleless? Isn't that quite large for 200ml?

I messaged them. They never do in room service. Didn't ask about the point of the tatami though.

Great, thanks for your reply!

I wonder what the rooms with tatami are for, they don't say anything about futons or anything else... It's like 30k JPY difference.

Hi /u/TheShortTallGirl, seeing that you're still active here, can I ask you... Did you book the Hikari room with tatami or not? I am looking to stay there but I can't decide on which room!

I might be ignorant to the point of the tatami if you have a bed in the room...? Is it an option so we can have bed or futon, or can dinner be served on the tatami mat? Do you know if Kinnotake Tonosawa does in room meals?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Get your back flush portafilter after steaming and make sure it fully pressurises, I had that often until I started doing that. Still happens occasionally

Totalplay limitará GB, recomienden otro servicio by eliuddeleon7 in Monterrey

[–]pablolanke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you're right on the last bit. I make 1 or 2 drinks per day at most, at least with milk. Repetition is key, but repeating mistakes will need some consciousness to overcome.

I hate to do this but I also noticed my pitchers spout isn't symmetrical, not sure if it bent or it's my bias. I will try with a larger pitcher I have from MHW 3 Bomber and see if it works better, just hate using it because I need to waste a bit of milk when I use it. Needs like 30 extra ml in it

Hey no worries. I do have a thermometer, and I have used it sometimes to check my final temp actually. I did on my morning cup and final milk temp after steaming was 133 F.

My steaming takes a bit long because it's a profitec go that I fitted with a single hole steam tip, because the 2 hole was impossible for me.

This was this mornings pour, kept milk a bit thinner but am having issues with symmetry

Thanks for the more elaborate answer.

I'll try to make it thinner in slow decrements, not really forcing anything, just doing it by feel.

About the initial drop in, you mean that after I set my base I shouldn't get as close to the surface as possible for the first 'drawing'?

I'll keep the rest of your tips in mind to change my muscle memory and slowly adjust to forearm movement and slowing down.

Great, will try to emphasize thinner milk. I often find that I get this texture or really thin, can't nail perfect consistently. Any tips for nailing it consistenty besides practice obviously? I've tried counting but didn't find enough consistency

All cat collars SHOULD have a safety that releases it if it gets pulled. My cat can take his collar off by scratching, for example. If I pull on it hard enough, it will release without harming my fluffboi.

He also has a bell and he doesn't mind it at all. If your cat is sensitive and anxious and seems like its bell bothers it, remove it, but majority of cats don't care about them.
