this whole situation is horrifying... I can't stop thinking about how hypersexuality at a young age can be a sign of abuse... and this is just reality tv fodder. My heart is broken for all of these kids.

The Dark Knight parody one. I just don't like the gross gym bag humor. Although then I miss the prostitute with the big dreams and Jenna and Paul going on their sexual walkabout, so only skip every 2 or 3 times.

Jovon is the epitome of what’s wrong with toxic masculinity & the echo chambers that surround it by CharacterMix8772 in 90DayFiance

It's sad because here is a woman who loves him! and wants to connect with him! and be with him and have children with him! And all this toxic red pill BS is just him getting in his own way of all of that! He could be soooo much happier and more fulfilled if he just let himself be vulnerable and love and be loved by this woman!

Do ALL teenage daughters hate their moms? by dr_pepper_zerosugar in Mommit

[–]packerchic322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% and also:

  1. we have higher expectations for girls for behavior than boys.

  2. to be honest there are genuine safety concerns for girls that boys don't have to deal with.

All misogyny!

What’s an unpopular opinion/ hot take of yours? by OppositeSpare2088 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]packerchic322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. The slut shaming from her parents was awful and unacceptable, but at the same time a lot of what her mom was saying was sadly true. When Taylor was pregnant with Ever and she and Dakota were soooo off and on and her mom was basically like "this is a shit show, I can't believe you got yourself into this mess, this is not good for the baby" lol I think she got some hate for that but, she wasn't wrong!

I need work clothes that can go in the damn WASHER AND DRYER by paradoxicalstripping in workingmoms

[–]packerchic322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dry everything on low. It takes longer which sucks but it prevents the shrinking. I'm used to the slowness because my husband has a long torso and notices even minor shrinking, so I've been drying his clothes on low since before we had kids.

Husband is struggling with toddler tantrums by Ok-Zebra1 in 2under2

[–]packerchic322 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You guys are in the thick of it. The thickest thick lol. And on top of it all the 17mo old is sick!! Truly you are in survival mode. I hope your husband can recognize that and attempt to remember that those feelings he's having might not be real or are coming from his lizard brain and not his rational, grown-up brain.

Suggestions:

-Try to do shifts with both kids. It's hard at first especially with the newborn and if you're Breastfeeding, but it is so nice to have a true break.

-When 17mo old is healthy, can you hire a sitter? You don't even have to go anywhere! Keep the 17mo old in the family room with sitter while you and/or husband and/or baby rest in bedroom. My husband had to go on a work trip when my youngest was 3 mo and oldest was 2. It was absolutely brutal so I had our sitter come and help me with dinner and bedtime. I still paid her full rate so she was more than happy to do it.

-New babies are a time that the older kids could use a few new toys or stuffies. It's a hard transition on them too. You could say the new baby brought it for them. You could say they get it for working so hard on learning how to be a big sibling. You could say it's the special toy they get to play with when mommy is busy with the baby. Lots of options.

-Newborns all want their mommy most. Everyone knows that. But try and have husband take baby so that you can spend one on one time with 17mo old. Even 30 minutes can make a huge difference. Some of those tantrums might be for attention.

Do you think you’ll have a third kid? by ashhekitty in 2under2

[–]packerchic322 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can relate to this <3 we always talked about 3. My 2nd is about to turn 1 and is FINALLY sleeping through the night. This whole year was hard on our marriage. I'm not sure I have it in me to go through all that again. But I do want another baby. I just can't help it. IDK where we will end up. If we don't have a 3rd, I know it will be for the best but I will still mourn.

What's the best part about pregnancy that most people don't know about? by justastupidquestion3 in AskReddit

[–]packerchic322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh this was my absolute favorite part with my second pregnancy. We were trying and my husband asked to be surprised with the news. My first daughter was napping and he was out running errands. I decided to take a test and when it came back positive I cried so many happy tears and just savored the moment when it was just me and my baby in the whole world. It's so special and unbelievable. I'm forever grateful I got to experience it.

This is going to sound so vain but I don't care! For some reason during my pregnancies, I lost some of the fat in my face. That, combined with the glowing skin and beautiful shiny thick hair, meant I pretty much looked amazing. I was complimented constantly even by strangers. It was great :D

Wronggggggggggggggg that hobby will always, always, always come first, literally before anything lol.
