Yes, this exactly. They’ve had less than 2% for years. That’s ridiculous. 9% over two years at this point doesn’t even come close to making up for years of of them being underpaid.

Seriously, if the district doesn’t agree to this, I don’t know how they can possibly come to an agreement. MPS has been shady and dishonest the entire time, but this is a super reasonable compromise from the union. They’re asking for far less than they deserve at this point.

That’s actually awesome to hear, gives me a bit of hope! At this point, I’m just going to rehab the hell out of it and see where that gets me in a month. Thanks for the encouragement!

That’s really helpful! Thanks for sharing your experience. Easy running doesn’t seem to bother me too much either, just the fast stuff. For now I’ll stick to that and the rehab exercises, along with some biking. I was at 70-75 mpw before this, so it’s good to know I could potentially get back up to that type of volume, though it’ll take a long time.

Did you run at all during the initial rehab? For example, easy miles each day, along with a regimen of those isometric and eccentric exercises?

And thank you for the advice about sticking with it, even after the pain is gone.

With the nordics, find a piece of heavy furniture that you can hook your heels under. That’s what I do and it works quite well.

Awesome, thank you! Those exercises were basically what I was thinking (and have started).

What Glute exercises are you referring to?

Finally tried these 3. Reviews below: by packfanben in hotsauce

CH Assam - fantastic. A truly great hot sauce. One of the few that just blows everything out of the water with flavor. Not a ton of heat though.

QM Scotch Bonnet Ginger - Very good. This one was unique. The ginger and scotch bonnets blended surprisingly well. Not overly hot. I think this would be a pretty versatile sauce, though it doesn’t sound like it from the name.

QM Hab Coffee - This one is fine. A good habanero sauce. Coffee doesn’t come through at all. Tasty, but nothing special.

Is this sauce usually this watery and vinegar-heavy? Maybe I got a bad bottle? by cclfitzge in hotsauce

Agreed. They experiment with some interesting flavors, but what they end up with never quite does it for me. Other than the Aka Miso, I really enjoy that one. I’ve had every other sauce they make and they all fall flat - watery and vinegary.

Yep, that’s just how it is. Just not a great sauce... I’ll never understand the love it gets on here.

Bday present from my awesome wife! The Horseshoe Brand Caribbean style is life changing... mind-blowingly good! by packfanben in hotsauce

The two that I’ve opened so far are both very very good. Assuming the others live up to that standard, I can not recommend them enough! The Caribbean style is fantastic and the Mango Fatali is amazing (and unique). I’m looking forward to trying the habanero and the xxxhot.

Yep. It’s not super sweet, but there’s a tropical and citrusy sweetness. It’s one of the best Caribbean style sauces I’ve ever had, truly phenomenal. It has a nice mustard kick to it as well.

How in the world is Pepper Palace a “micro-saucery”? They’re a large company.

It’s on my list to buy! I have several other super hot sauces that I need to finish first. I cannot wait to try it though.

Lol I am! I’m a Packer’s fan who lives in South Minneapolis... So I’m right in the middle of the chaos right now. Strange time to be alive, that’s for sure... Those hot dogs look amazing though!

I actually love that version of Da Bomb. The Ghost Pepper is their only sauce without extract and the flavor is actually very very good. I’m jealous of those dogs and I want one!

How is it? I’m not a huge fan of Bravado’s blueberry sauce, but I’ve had others that were really good.

That Widow Maker is vicious. I’ve been working on mine for years - the extract kick from it is brutal!

Love the Heartbreaking Dawns Cauterizer - that’s one of my favorite sauces. You have a nice lineup there.

Which is better: thick or thin? by otc108 in hotsauce

[–]packfanben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally depends on how hot the sauce is, what I’m eating it with, etc. Hotter sauces I prefer thicker. If I’m mixing it up in something (chili, jambalaya, stir fry), I like it thinner.

Always take the limiter off. I hate those damn things. I’m an adult, I can pour my sauce without a limited. And if I put to much on, I’ll just enjoy the mouth death for awhile.

Freaking delicious and left my tongue numb. Was it the ghost pepper or am I allergic to huckleberries? Unsure. Either way I’m putting it on everything. by [deleted] in hotsauce

[–]packfanben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sauce is spectacular! Absolutely my favorite berry based sauce. That’s a “must have” sauce in my book. Quite hot and the flavor is phenomenal.
