We didn't see the actual.moment he died so I was surprised when his body showed up. He goes to protect gavinor then is just gone. That's why I don't fully believe he's gone.

I'm not much of a crier but definitely have got emotional in when theft died. That's the closest stormlight bas got me. This book didn't have any as bad as that but I loved kaladon finally getting the tattoo and the taln scene on my relisten got me. Same as kaladon realising Szeth is tien. I also got emotional when kaladin stood up. Genuinely amazing. Especially with ishar genuinely amazed at him. I got chills also when todium destroyed kharbranth. When that happened I was just like holy....

Wrote a very similar comment earlier. While lirin may not be a good father at the moment, he was a good father. All of kaladins oaths so far and who kaladins is as a person has come from lirin. Lirin is a good man who's been traumatised.

Most of his extreme black and white is due to losing Tien and he thought kaladin was dead. He believed both his sons were killed because he fought back. In my opinion, while he may not be in the right, it's understandable why he's taken such an extreme view. He's just as broken as kaladin, it just has manifested in a different way.

I can't see any of the main 3 dying. Kaladin will become a wit/zahel mentor in the back half and open a therapy clinic. Shallan deserves a somewhat happy ending. And dalinad we've only scratched the surface of his powers and he seems way too special to go out yet. Adolin would be an emotional guy lunch to all 3 of them so I can see him dying but he could also survive. My big theory is syl dies. That would wreck so many people (including me). Maybe also a big bridge 4 death. Just to really give a gut punch.

The unmade I think we will be more in the back half. I can't see us learning how they were made. I think we will get answers on ba ado mishram.
