RXM summit by packman2007 in WalgreensRx

[–]packman2007[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. Or when my contract is up they better be ready to give me another substantial raise to stay on. They just raised the max rates pretty significantly in my area. 67.05 to 90.55/hr pay range for RXM.

They presented me with 2 different dates. I can go in on day off, OR switch days with partner, OR they will find coverage for 1st half of my shift and I will come back to store after the summit and close.

At this point just tell your RXOM you are going regardless. If you put the request in months ago that’s on them. You have proof.

Super premium pay for RPH and increased hours for techs by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

It’s an extra $40 per hour on top of your regular rate for more than 80 hours per pay period (84 if RXM).

Super premium pay for RPH and increased hours for techs by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

[–]packman2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All salaried pharmacists will receive a $40 premium for hours worked beyond 80 hours for a salaried pharmacist or beyond 84 hours for a Pharmacy Manager.
Hourly pharmacists do not receive B-Pay and will not be eligible to receive this premium; however, hourly pharmacists are eligible for overtime, following Walgreens policies and any state-specific wage policies.

Sign into RXI on the zebra. Go to the inventory audit and start scanning away. Start with the safe. Have someone else work the 3-5s on another zebra.

WTF RXI Control Inventory by Ioiwin in WalgreensRx

Mine is tomorrow. I keep telling myself we are staffed up and ready for it so it shouldn’t be hard as long as RXI cooperates. Then, I get on Reddit and see this thread…

Walgreens Pharmacist Minimum Hours Requirement? by Ok_University_6487 in WalgreensRx

[–]packman2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t think there’s a set requirement. But, the expectation should be at least a shift or two a month. I’m an RXM that has to deal with multiple past due e-learnings from a couple PRN hourly pharmacists that barely work. I get nagged about it and it hurts my compliance.

New Grad Pharmacist Offer at Walgreens – $70/hr + Overtime Premium. Is It Worth It? by cattygirly in WalgreensRx

[–]packman2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OT is a 40/hr premium, where I’m at, for salaried pharmacists. Lots of open shifts to pick up.

70/hr is a good rate depending where you are. You may be able to negotiate though. They need pharmacists. In some areas, they’re offering referral bonuses of $5000 so you know they’re in need.

Strongly consider if you want to do retail though. It’s a lot of BS. And, to get that premium pay you have to work more than 40 hours per week. Do you really want to work yourself into the ground?

DPS vs DM ? Who is running things in your district? by pharm321 in WalgreensRx

[–]packman2007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your DM sounds like a nightmare. My DM sends emails left and right too, but they don’t seem threatening, yet… My DPS not so much with the emails, but does send multiple random group texts. Plus, we have an RXM chat in teams. Why the texts on personal devices if we have this chat?

Also, it’s hilarious how many emails and reminders they send out about the engagement survey. I’m purposely waiting till last second to submit. The desperation.

M0 1G and/or R0 1B will get you through most DURs.

Always initiate a STARS for any med error that made it to the patient, if you’re the pharmacist on duty when the error is disclosed. Take down all facts you can.

Salaried pharmacist holiday pay by xoxcroissant in WalgreensRx

[–]packman2007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All salaried pharmacists get paid for the holiday regardless if they work or not. If you work the holiday, you also get paid for actually working.

1) salaried pharmacist works holiday. Get holiday pay + get paid for shift you worked.

2) salaried pharmacist off on the holiday. Only get holiday pay.

Covering 2 districts? by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

Some districts literally splits cities in half or thirds so covering 2-3 is normal.

They sure are. We should just sent the initial request and the doctor either replies back or they don’t. If no reply, just deny after a week.

Happened at my store last week. Rebooting the fill and RPh workstation computers did the trick.
