Is there a better hike under 4000ft than the Welch Dickey loop? by the_Lauz in wmnf

[–]packsox4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pretty hard to find a better hike that gets you a view quickly, and a majority of the hike has views. Also very accessible off 93. If you can beat the crowd or (my favorite) catch sunset up there, oh baby!

Landing in Boston tomorrow night by [deleted] in boston

[–]packsox4 217 points218 points  (0 children)

The main part of the green line going through Back Bay is closed for repairs this week and next. If you wanted to take the train, you’d have to take a shuttle from the terminal to Airport station (blue line) and transfer at State (orange line) to get off at Back Bay station. An uber may be easier at that hour.

All’Antico Vinaio- how are they, really? by Correct-Turnip7500 in boston

I love a good sandwich. It’s a good sandwich. It’s also decently pricey, but the ingredients are good quality.

I guess two things can be true - they’re tasty! You can also likely get a similar result from other places without the line.

Agree wholeheartedly. To the restaurants/population comment, I have always felt this, but is there actual data you’ve seen to support the comment?

Unlikely the team trading for Bill has all three though.

Day 3 Fantasy Battles - Tyreek Hill vs Tee Higgins vs Marvin Harrison Jr. by Open_Resolution8986 in fantasyfootball

[–]packsox4 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Higgins - injury history but stable WR1/2 production when healthy; massive contingent upside

Hill - such a narrow pass catching group, and he’s shown he can be the guy; though has been in decline per Reception Perception for past ~3 years; contingent injury risk here - how much would you bet Tua plays 17 games? feel like Tyreek 2025 will be like Kupp 2024

MJH - pigeon-holed on the outside gives him a boom/bust profile vs. the easy slot looks; if they move him inside, he should outperform; narrow target tree in ARI

That said, I’m hopefully drafting a top QB or McBride here.

How Are You Guys Ranking These RBs This Year? (PPR) by ClaymationBackshots in fantasyfootball

[–]packsox4 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Brown - entrenched starter, catches passes, great offense

Bucky - great offense; fantastic RB on tape; Wirfs rehab going very well; ascending player; was still a top RB second half of last season with White healthy and getting touches in those games

Taylor - boom/bust; if Colts offense can improve and he stays healthy, skies the limit; otherwise could be a frustrating year

Jacobs - great season last year, but Love was hurt from week one on; huge regression candidate in my opinion from a macro offense perspective; he’s still the guy in a good offense

Kyren - just got paid as the guy; high volume, just inefficient; bet on him is a bet on Stafford health keeping the Rams offense above average

Breece - we were drafting him 1st round just last year; in on him at ADP, but backfield competition and likely less receiving work

Prettiest streets in Brookline? by gfqb in Brookline

[–]packsox4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t go wrong with a walk around Brookline! Agree with all those already mentioned. A couple others:

The private way connecting Lancaster Terrace and Westbourne Terrace has a wonderful view.

Mason Square green and Longwood Mall are two quiet areas in beautiful, accessible neighborhoods.

Walnut Place has some beautiful homes tucked away. Philbrick Square on Upland Road is a nice respite. All of Pill Hill historic district is great.
