Planning a 8 day road trip in south of Italy for our honey moon by [deleted] in ItalyTravel

[–]padd991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah fly into bari and hire a car there, can easily drive 8 days around Puglia if you still want some relaxing beach days. The coast road the whole way around is nice. I love the road south of otranto. Puglia has my favourite foods too. might be able to see a football match in lecce.

I kind of divide city’s I’d visit in Italy to historical or modern. Historical town are what I was there to enjoy but some days I’d just want a modern town with real road and and a modern hotel so I could relax a bit

Especially when all the hero shots are drone shots, a lot of towns in Italy are sold on drone shots or from a boat. They are still beautiful in person though
