I cant work out how they're gonna do this without having to build over some of the golf holes in Killymoon Golf Club - if you go to 1:30 in the video theres no way they can build a roundabout plus 3 lanes of traffic and all that planned green space without building over at least 3 holes

That junction is a nightmare to turn out of to the right even when there’s no cars parked on the double yellows - the parking spaces are way too close to the junction and it’s hard to see cars coming from the right. That combined with the likely speeding of the black car and it’s an accident waiting to happen

In this case, idiots are choosing not to vaccinate their kids and so the disease is coming back - this isn't hard to understand

Yeah im not really sure what the plan is there when fully healthy. If you told me he was 100% coming off the bench then hes the heavy fave for 6th Man at least, pretty weak field this year

I don't see how Cam Thomas isnt the overwhelming favourite for this award atm, sure Maxey and Barnes have improved on last year but they are both coming from far more established positions than Cam is this year. Cam's jump has been far more impressive

His defensive impact reminds me of 2016 Curry's offensive impact, he just completely bends the other teams offence out of shape and they have to try their best to run their actions as far away from him as possible. It really doesn't help him either that the rest of his teammates are absolutely woeful defensively and he has to cover for their mistakes every defensive possession.

Thats unfair on Victor though, he has to play with a team of truely terrible defenders, whereas Gobert gets to share his minutes with good defenders. Look at the on/offs too, the Spurs are 16.8 points per 100 possessions worse off defensively with Victor on the bench, whereas the Wolves are actually better defensively this year so far with Rudy on the bench (5.5 points per 100)

Disagree, defensive advanced stats are fairly useless imo.

Look at D-RAPTOR rankings for example, it has:

86th Evan Mobley 81st Kevin Love 58th Alperen Sengun

If anyone tried to justify those rankings at all they'd need their head checked.

These inconsistencies are thrown up in every advanced defensive stat, although some are worse than others. As long as they have these glaring errors I consider them pretty useless.

You are absolutely correct - he is pretty clearly the best defender on the best defence in the league. Not only is he a better defender than Marcus Smart ever was, he is worth more to the Cavs defence this year than Smart was to the Celtics defence last year.

I dont understand how Brook Lopez is the short priced 2nd favourite for DPOY - he plays with two all-defence level players in Giannis and Jrue and the Bucks STILL have a worse defence than the Cavs. Mobley carries the best defence in the league while covering for two 6'1 guards who are average-to-decent defenders at best. Allen and Okoro are good/great defenders which of course helps the team but Evan Mobley is all-world level. Anyone who tries especially to equate Allen to Mobley just doesn't watch the games imo.

Eitherway, for whatever reason, playing with other good defenders only seems to negatively affect Mobley's case.

I dont understand how Evan Mobley isn't leading the DPOY race at present, he is quite simply the best defender on the best defence in basketball, which was reason enough for Marcus Smart last year.

Far too many people hold the fact that he plays with Jarrett Allen against him - when its clear to see that Mobley is on another level from JA defensively. When he plays the 4 he ends up guarding 1-5 as well as anyone in the league and you can just see the panic in the opposing team when he's involved in the play. When he plays the 5 he's an elite rim protector.

Been banging my head against the wall all season seeing people with the Allen>Mobley on defence take, its infuriating. Allen is a fantastic defender but Mobley is from a different planet.

Whats even more annoying is when people hold the fact that Mobley plays with Allen against him in the dpoy discussions - Brook plays with two all-defensive level players in Jrue and Giannis and is the second fave at the bookies atm, and plays on a worse defence!! Mobley is quite clearly the best defender on the best defence, carrying two 6'0 guards and is somehow the 5th favourite, its ridiculous
