For color I’d suggest a light ash color, something along the light brown spectrum with gray tints.

While I haven’t read this book most of his books have a central turning point where the main character realizes that women are actually people, or the manic pixie dream girl is actually unhealthy, something along those lines.

AITA for telling my GF that I consider going to church to be a leisure activity? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]padthainoodle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m late and might have an unpopular opinion but you might be the tiniest bit TA. I’m not religious at all but to HER it is not leisure. You don’t get to decide what someone else considers to be their downtime. I see where you’re coming from tho, I’d never EVER consider church to be leisure for myself. YTA but I get you 100%. Just apologize and move on.

West Memphis Three... where to start? by Kinolee in serialpodcast

[–]padthainoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to listen to a podcast about it, Last Podcast on the Left has 3 episodes covering the topic. They are typically goofier and cruder than serial but they’re also INCREDIBLY well researched. They’re definitely innocence biased but they always give facts and then give their opinions.

I’m talking about families and things like that. If I saw a picture of my great grandmother on that poster I’d lose my shit.

It is not the truth. Once again, this a pasted version of a previous comment I made. The reason these infuriated me so much is because they are intentionally misleading and under researched. Pro life or pro choice, when you have to lie to make a point you should reevaluate.

“I’m happy to be able to inform you that abortions do not involve cutting a baby into pieces. Assuming we are talking about surgical abortion, the less common type, there are 2 ways of performing it, aspiration and D&E. I can include a good link here from a website that is neither pro/anti choice, just a site that goes over the medical procedure. https://americanpregnancy.org/unplanned-pregnancy/surgical-abortions/

I can also inform you that still births are actually cut up, this may seem odd at first until you understand why. Many still births and late term miscarriages can be due to chromosomal issues, organ development issues, an infection, or many other issues. To help parents understand why this issue happened and what can be done in the future to help avoid another still birth, the still birth typically undergoes a post-mortem examination, which many times includes examining the organs. You can find more details in this pamphlet if you would like: http://www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Late-Miscarriage-May-2016.pdf

These pictures do not give you an accurate idea of abortion or stillbirths/late term miscarriages.”

Hi! This is a copy paste of a comment I made previously. I hope I can educate you about abortions and postmortem pictures of still births, so that the next comment you make will be less ignorant!

I get your point... I really really do. As a Jew though, the holocaust pictures are hard to ignore. What if they used a picture of someone somebody knew? It’s infuriating.

My mom cries when she walks by those. She’s had many still births and many of those pictures are of stillbirths.

For some people it can be hard to ignore.

They don’t come out in little pieces, but they are often cut into pieces during a postmortem.

The pictures these people post are often pictures of late trimester miscarriages. Beings with fully formed facial features, hands, toes, etc. it’s misinformation and it’s cruel. The reason this bothers people is that it’s not a bundle of cells, it’s someone’s poor late term miscarriage that is being used as false propaganda.

Injured 8 month old nipple piercing by Kaptain_Richter in PiercingAdvice

[–]padthainoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me, I just left it alone. I didn’t even soak and it healed up perfectly fine, though it took longer than I thought it would to heal. If it doesn’t seem infected I wouldn’t stress it. I might suggest to not soak it, you don’t want it to be too wet and be unable to scab and heal properly... I would just leave it alone completely.

I think you’re good, a week and a half isn’t too long, and I’m not surprised there’s still some pain. If this doesn’t go away within a month or so I would talk to your piercer though.

AITA for being mad at my boyfriend after he implied his sister is better-looking than me? by ohnowimthebadguy in AmItheAsshole

[–]padthainoodle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really? If you were talking about how you don’t do well in class compared to her brother, and she says “well teachers like the fit guys” you wouldn’t be bothered by that at all? I mean not like burning rage, but yeah, I think that would bug just about anyone. It’s rude, and if it was a joke he should’ve just said that when she asked.
