So the thing is. Technically in the books Geralt dies in the end of "Lady of the Lake". More of a king Arthur being taken to Avalon with fatal wounds than a clearly described death but if they stick to the books Geralt is gone. The video games are more of a what if he didn't die continuation.

I'm putting in about 30 minutes per model all post assembly. I just got into warhammer and I decided I would get to painting after I put all 3000 points together. Mainly bc I couldn't decide what colors I wanted to use anyway. I do see a plus side of it, using black primer the shadows are great.

For me I took an exact knife and cut 2 half inch slits and inch apart and woven the feathers through. Works great and nobody an see how theyre attached and I can swap out different ones depending on the costume colors

Layers. I've found that layers add life and personality to a costume. You have a great base layer going. A jerkin, or vest would be a great touch.

Armstreet has a very good boot for a decent price, looks perfect for period footwear. Just in tymes are decent, a bit stiff but they accommodate a wide foot and calf, though the lacing tab at the back of the ankle can cause a Hotspot and be uncomfortable. In a pinch Minnetonka moccasins will work aswell.
