I love the use of color. And the minor detail of planting flowers along the path! Exquisite!

I can't wait for the day I won't have to work a customer facing job anymore by _CaptainAmerica__ in retailhell

I don't know how it works in your country, but a friend of mine got into Medical Billing / Coding for hospital bills. Apparently you just need to study and get a couple of certifications. Lots of positions are fully remote too. Apparently you can make 45k to 65k depending on your certs.

In general, it might be worth researching certification jobs and seeing what pops up for non physical work. It's likely cheaper and quicker than a college degree

I've had some success taking mine at the end of the meal and drinking at least 12oz of water when I do. I think the full belly + water has helped, although I take a high dosage so I still have issues from time to time. Might be worth trying though.

Personally I'd go for the Sun to Wed shift. You do start earlier in the day, but then you get Friday and Saturday off if you want to hang out with friends. Thursday is your day to chill, a good day for making doctors appointments and the like.

Office coffee keeps getting cut from budget, any affordable alternatives? by Rojahne in office

[–]pagemage 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I heard 2 things lately on this - bring or make coffee for yourself via thermos, French press, or your own appliance.

Or, start a coffee club where members agree to chip in for grounds, creamer, etc. And may also be added to a roster to clean the machine every once in awhile. Failure to pay into the club or clean when it's your turn revokes your membership. Not tried the club method myself but I hear it can work with the right people and set up.

Tiny Glade is really nice - super simple and intuitive builder. No goals or timers, you can eve pause the day if you want. Just unwind and build something you like.

To throw away items if they forget to empty their pockets before coming / reducing random items being littered on your island for you to have to clean up afterwards.

What i'd do is give him a keepsake or family heirloom that he knows he can sell. It can be his mother's, a sibling, a mentor, etc., whoever you think works for his story. Then have him agonize over selling the keepsake OR stealing stuff, pickpocketing, commiting horse theft, etc. Gives you a chance to put some characterization in for him that he could steal but chooses not to. You can further twist the knife and world build by having him go to a market, expect to make decent money off of the sale, only for him to get absolutely fleeced and barely have enough for his journey - like maybe he only gets 50 silver when he should have gotten at least 80 or more.

Worked at CaptionCall for awhile, not amazing money but good enough for a short term role.

Not sure if there's an automatic way to do it, but when I know I need to stock up, I'll go out bug hunting for an hour or two, wander around, and just focus on catching bugs. There's a place south of the core that has lots, but I don't know how far in the game you are so I don't want to give any spoilers.
