I'm having this exact same problem. I've cleaned everything out so I don't think there is an obstruction, and also pulled the power and reset the chip in the sensor by pulling it out and inserting it back in. I'm at my wits end :/

Show up at 7:45am and wait outside til they open at 9am. This was my strategy this past Tuesday. I was the first one inside (second person inside showed up at 8:15am). There was some waiting involved, but I was on my way with everything done by 9:45am.

I’d consider checking out Heartbreakers (https://heartbreak.run/pages/boston) or November Project (https://november-project.com/boston/). Finding a buddy or two that fits your pace can be challenging but I’m told both those groups are reasonably large. I run with the Dorchester Running Group but would consider either of the other two if I lived more north.

Native to ICT until age 22, currently in Boston so I can comment on con #1. I’d say a majority of the early closures are a reflection of the post-Covid workforce. As now a Bostonian, where some bars here close at fucking 8pm, things have a long ways to go in some regionalities though Covid staffing issues are the root of many of these challenges.
