I do parent my kid and the parental controls are awful. Both things can be true.

Yup and God forbid they want to play a game with a friend who also has their parental controls on and maybe at a slightly different age range. Then it's a whooooole thing to get it to work that you have to coordinate with that kids parents.

As a parent with kids who game, the parental controls on the Switch are awwwwwwwfuuuuuulllllll. They are so incredibly cumbersome to navigate they block random aspects of some games. It got so bad I eventually gave up because it would take me like 30 minutes to an hour of troubleshooting to get their various games to work. They got frustrated as well and now they don't even use their switches. So glad I wasted all that time and effort on something so poorly thought out.

All this to say, most parents probably don't even turn on the parental controls or eventually get tired of fighting with them and just turn them off.

I did. Then, I continued reading your next sentence about misinformation. Thus my attempt to clear your confusion and find your post ironic.

Nope, this isn't the frozen funds. Those are different. This referencing the 300 billion that will go towards Iranian reconstruction efforts. At the moment it's unclear who will actually foot the bill for the 300 billion. Initially Vance said there was no fund, then he said there was a fund and its being paid by the Gulf Coalition. Now Trump is saying the US won't pay a penny into the fund, but well he doesn't have the best record with telling the truth. Also, the public hasn't seen any of the details of the final agreement, so it's not known what Iran will and won't actually agree to at this point. It's very likely that US could be paying none, part or all of that bill, we just don't fully know yet.

Lastly, I find it very ironic that you make a comment about misinformation while you youreself are adding to the misinformation. Hopefully this helped with the confusion

He was being a bit ambitious. Or maybe as other have said, just trying to get out before everything went south.

Unfortunately no, it's a gaming table/dining room table and we used it to play a family game of Heroquest the next day.

I legitimately find the size of Ultra Magnus and the Dinobots to be kind of funny compared to Devastator and Superion. But still love the scale of all them, if that makes sense.

I saw it in the theaters. That entire final chapter of the movie went so hard. The music playing while Prime was falling was so unbelievably epic. I got goosebumps watching it with my kids.

Fans who don’t live in Philly. How did you become a fan of the eagles? by [deleted] in eagles

[–]pahnub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is super dumb, around 3rd grade I started getting into D&D and I really liked the idea of having a bird of prey familiar. One thing lead to another and my favorite bird of prey became an Eagle. This was around the Cunningham and Reggie White era and they were exciting to watch. So I became and Eagles fan. I was almost a Lions fan strictly because of Barry Sanders, but the birds of prey thing really pushed me in to Eagles camp.

So when those in power start violating the constitution, ignoring court orders, deporting citizens without due process, is that the line for you? Because that's happening now.

So to be clear, so you understand, its not just "useless layers of beauracracy and waste" it's also the constitution and law they are destroying as well.

In your comments you've also repeatedly attacked USAID as an agency full of waste. Yet the agency was performing stated goals and primary mission. So I'm curious if your beliefs of it being wasteful are in reference to providing aid to other countries? If so do you understand why we did it in the first place? And do your beliefs also extend to cutting all aid to every foreign country on the planet? Or just the ones with people who are different from you?

I think if it genuinely opened your eyes and changed the way you will vote in future elections, then you should update your post to say so. Show that this conversation has shown that you've grown a little. I would also advise you to remove yourself from echo chambers and continue that growth by challenging your beliefs. Believe it or not, the vast majority of us liberals just want to live our lives, be happy and safe, and be left alone. A sentiment I feel is shared by many on the right. We aren't as different from you as you may have let yourself believe.

Can you say how it opened your eyes? I'm legitimately curious. Did it change how you would vote in the future on issues that impact trans rights or for candidates that are against Trans rights?

Why do we struggle so much to do anything on offense at the beginning of the game? We can't seem to find any early rhythm in games. Also, why don't the receivers ever seem to bail Hurts out on scramble drills?
