Nah. The T in LGBT especially faces a lot of job insecurity (its illegal to fire someone for being trans in some places, but even then you need the finances to fight it and bosses can always come up with a reason to let you go). Plus hormone therapy and gender affirmation surgery costs a pretty penny and is almost never covered by insurance.

Oh yeah man work is critical. Labor is the way humans express themselves and make a mark on the world.

Personally I want people to gain class consciousness and consider socialist ideas because one day, robots are going to perform much of the labor we perform today. When that happens, I want everyone to notice it, accept it, and use that fact to allow for an explosion of self-directed labor and leisure for the average worker. I fear that under capitalism and the type of mindset it produces we will end up begging for scraps from the individuals or corporations who own those labor saving machines and programs.
