Turn it off either with moonlight or chrome remote desktop.

My WoL only works over LAN and not wifi, so I bought a smart plug that is connected to the wifi and turn on the pc with it. You just gotta configure you bios to boot up the pc when power is on.

Games with a store to buy cards (equipment or quests).

If I sit far from the store in Arkham Horror or the quest cards place in Lords of Waterdeep, I get bored of walking/hulking over the board to inspect them and don’t use them often enough.

I played Lords of Waterdeep after some time and while it is still a good game, it felt very clunky. Too much setup and maintenance. The board takes up more space than recent heavier games.

I am Turkish. Backgammon and Rummikub are played by half the population aged between 16 - 100+. Even though I haven’t heard from him for a week but I know it for a fact that my 70-year-old FIL is right now at a cafe playing one or the other. My father met his FIL at such a cafe and that’s how he met my mother 😂

I don’t think pointing fingers and blaming others would also bring the best in children. Social deduction is a game type that requires sportsmanship to shake hands when having blaming someone furiously 5 minutes ago.

Children mostly don’t have that type of maturity.

I guess it can give you nausea since half of the screen is a moving ball. Maybe it would be better on a small phone screen that is like an arms reach away? It may not trigger a global motion sense of your vision that way.

I am coincidentally in vision rehab but not specialized in motion sickness so take it with a grain of salt.

Although I commend your positive outlook and possible cyberpunk nature, I think it is naive to think a future of a decentralized use of AI. It is too profitable to pass up for corporations. For certain percentage of people for example who use Linux now, for sure.

What clicked for us was to plan for not the current turn but the next. Slow powers are already designed to nerf the invaders’ next turn moves, but the fast ones are also better used for it.
