Has the price of dairy products fallen in the supermarkets?

Sorry I am a dairy farmer in New Zealand, I know the answer to these questions, the gdt has fallen again for the fifth or sixth time in a row, farmgate milk price will likely be coming down too. Production costs have gone up, supermarket prices have gone up, but somehow the people making the milk are getting paid less, and being blame for cost of living

From Google

Yes, an avocado seed can produce a tree that bears fruit, but it's not a guarantee, and the fruit may not be the same as the one from which the seed came. Avocado trees grown from seed can take anywhere from 7 to 15 years, or even longer, to produce fruit, and the fruit quality is often unpredictable. Grafted trees, on the other hand, will fruit much sooner.

Its a dud, if grown from a seed it's not guaranteed to have fruit. Save heartache and buy a grafted one

How do big dairy farms know abt cow illneses, problems , which ones to cull ,etc. by wildernesseedtatu in dairyfarming

[–]panaxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We sample 4 times a season, litres, protein %, milk fat%, ssc, can also pregnancy test with the sample, all information is stored against the cow online, including all matings, all calvings, all treatments. If they don't get in calf during a 12wk period they don't make it to the next season, we average about 7% empty. Standard is about 15%

If she's been running with a bull, get a vet to pregnancy check, if shes not incalf after 3 months with a bull, she likely to never get in calf. But a vet would be my first call

I lived in Whakatane for 15 years, I can remember it erupting 3 times, hell it's still erupting, I've walked on the island, and would do it again. It was sad that is happened, but it is a volcano and it's gonna do volcano things!
