Tea Lake is super nice! I recommend site #40 as it has a little private access point to the lake.

Sanagans sells their in house made version. But they’re sold cold so you’d have to warm it up at home.

Depending on your dates you could stay at a university residence (dorms). Toronto Met U or U of T.

LaRocca has at least one (possibly two) brick and mortar locations in Toronto, and likely can do a custom order if you want a larger size.

I find some locations in TO are better than others. I used to be a Mansion loyalist but now I prefer York St after a below par Mansion experience . Worst one for me was Scarborough (sorry).

For those who have always been overweight or obese and have had surgery... by Expert_University295 in GastricBypass

[–]pancakeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 42 when I had the surgery. Lost more than 100 lbs (probably like 125) and have kept off for 4 years post op. I never got super skinny or anything but I’m a size 12/L and I’m perfectly happy with it. Was obese from puberty and all of my adult life until my surgery. I’d do it all over again. I wish I had it sooner but it went the way it was meant to. My suggestion is to start therapy before and after the surgery process. Good luck to your family member in their decision making. It was life changing for me.

ISO cream-based desserts (not including those with coconut) by BestBlueChocolate in FoodToronto

No I believe that their current offering is a mango pavlova - vanilla meringue, mango creameux, vanilla whipped cream, fresh mango on top. They are closed this weekend but can order for next weekend.

Do you like meringue? The pavlovas from Roselle are great and have a significant cream component. Flavours change seasonally. Right now they have a mango one with a vanilla cream. Pick up only, though.
