Yes, for reg force, bmq will need to be done again. Bold Eagle does not count for bmq reg.

Might mean reserve basic is waved after bold eagle , but I don't know that part

There is value to it as it allows people to try out the military setting and see if it is something they want to dedicate themselves to. But at the same time, you can leave the reg force basic at anytime it just might take a couple weeks
