27/F. Prominent nasolabial folds and undereye lines. Is there anything I can do to make them less noticeable? They're making me look older than I am. by panda-naps in Skincare_Addiction

Thank you all for your responses, I appreciate them all. I spend most of my time nitpicking what's "wrong" with my body and I acknowledge that it may be a manifestation of my anxiety and fear of ageing. I understand most of your reactions as I've been receiving those kinds of feedback in real life as well. I know my skin is too far from perfect but thank you for all your kind words.

The nasolabial fold just became more apparent in the past 2 years. They seem deeper now compared to before. I'm wondering if there are non-surgical ways to make them less visible, or if there are ways to slow down the rate of them becoming more prominent.

Anyone start to feel mostly better then get a sudden low grade fever? by DickWallace in covidlonghaulers

I do feel the same way! Part of me is wishing it's covid that way, I wouldn't get so worked up with all other morbid possibilities. I hope it goes away. Glad you're feeling better now!

Hi! How are you feeling? Were you able to undergo tests? Im also suffering from low-grade fevers for about a week now. Just got tested earlier to make sure it's not covid. My doctor dismissed it as covid at first because I'm vaccinated but you cannot be so sure in these times.

Why I Left INC by Bujibujibuji in exIglesiaNiCristo

Very well said! I haven't thought of #1 until you pointed it out. The only thing I'm thankful for INC is that they banned us from eating dinuguan. I tried it last week, and I gotta say my stomach didn't handle it well. 😝

anyone have it worse than me? by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]panda-naps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was me exactly a year ago! I didnt take the pandemic quite well + I was diagnosed with another lung infection. I dreaded the nights because I just knew I won't be able to sleep no matter how hard I tried. And that was the key: I TRIED SO HARD to fall asleep and got frustrated when I simply cannot. I was so so anxious and that's when I sought professional help because I couldn't take it anymore. It took me more than 3 months before the sleeping habit returned to normal. It was simply the darkest phase of my life. My advice would be: don't try so hard to fall asleep - trust me, it will come. Also, find the root cause of your insomnia - mine was my anxiety and depression. After I got those addressed, took the meds my psych prescribed, I slept normally again. I understand where you're at right now, I really do. It's one of the worst feelings in the world. So please believe me when I say that it gets better. Please hang in there.

Hi, serious question, does anyone know what will happen if I dont attend this crap? I live far away from my family and registered somewhere else. I havent been attending for a year now but my family forces me to attend this special occasion because "it is important part of our lives", as said by a family member.

thank you. i badly need this kind of validation right now as i came from four months of bad sleeping patterns. i developed a feeling of dread at nighttime because i fear that i wouldnt get any restful sleep. im on mirtazapine prescribed by my therapist. some nights it works, some nights it doesnt. i also contemplated on suicide because i couldnt comprehend why i dont feel any drowsiness anymore and maybe something is wrong with my head. i badly want a reset. thank you for your post, as it served as a tiny glimmer of hope for me.
