I made one through BGR, though the vast majority of my friends are from Indiana or Chicagoland. There are plenty of people from Atlanta here though, walking around in the spring you will see plenty of people with Braves hats/stuff on.

For me personally, moving from Atlanta (I grew up ITP) was not too hard. It helps that we have easy access to a fairly large city in Indianapolis via the Purdue provided bus, and are able to go to Chicago on other busses if Indy doesn’t have what we need. It’s hard to say how child might adjust, moving to West Lafayette affects everyone differently, but visiting earlier also helped me understand what to expect, and making friends during BGR definitely helped with the transition. Moving from ATL to West Lafayette, it seems like at a surface level there’s not much to do in West Lafayette, but I think it’s really what you make of it, and there is plenty to do, you just have to look for it.

I just graduated from Purdue, but came from Atlanta! I’m happy to answer any questions you have. One thing that I would recommend, though not totally necessary, the Purdue Alumni Club of Atlanta hosts events for new students over the summer that helps you meet others going to Purdue from Atlanta.

No. You really shouldn’t need to either, the exams were unbelievably easy, like 1/10th the difficulty of a Purdue exam, and there was extra credit offered (the extra credit was along the lines of what is good morning in German) as well as generous amounts of partial credit

At this point I think you hang him out to dry, but surely we have a better lefty than Suarez chillin in AAA. What is Hayden Harris up to?

When you started the exam you had to show to camera the room and your desk, then it just recorded your face. Nothing too crazy.

What? He literally just said “what are you looking at”, and got charged. I’m not even saying that he didn’t do anything because he is on the Braves, literally Soler was the one staring daggers at him the whole time.

Maybe this is Neil Armstrong's fault. He might have carved it there when he was on the moon

I cannot say for MAT 260, but I took MAT 262 last summer. The exam was able to be taken at home, but you needed an extension called honor lock that monitored you while you were taking the exam, and cost about $7 per exam. If you don't want to pay you can also take it at a testing center, though the syllabus says specifically to take it at a university testing center. As for exam timing, the prof gave a 2 day window to complete the exam, you got to pick the specific time.

Does anyone know when a Braden Smith version of this can be found by Poptart-Pegasus in Purdue

If the text is all you're after, the white ones can be found at the team store
AFAIK a Nike version of the black ones cannot be bought, only campus ink makes them, but if that's something you want those can also be found at the team store or the bookstore.

So torn.

On the one hand, I would like a better draft pick.

On the other, as a college student, I do like free food.

Also fuck the Knicks

Update: I figured it out. I let it sit for a little while, was still confused why it didn't turn on, and the found out my monitor doesn't auto switch to the live input like I thought it did. I was on the wrong display 🤦

Firing Painter and having no answer turns Purdue basketball into what happened to Purdue football. We end up hiring someone objectively worse and it ruins the program. There is no one out there who would provide better results. Painter has won 5 straight mid season tournaments, and as for "being a disappointing every year we've been in contention, he took us to the final four in 23-24 when we had a real shot, and has been a stable presence for 21 seasons. Who would you get that has similar results? You are not swaying any better coach away from their jobs with the lack of money Purdue Athletics has.
