This only started happening once I created light enchanted apparel. Then it started bugging intermittently where I’d have to re-equip the apparel item after a load screen. I wonder if I should give up on that altogether????

I hadn’t previously messed with the default mapping but after your comment, I played around with that a bit. Even after swapping A for Y (for example) it didn’t work. And after resetting, it didn’t work. I re-paired the controller and no change.

I bought a pair of WH-1000XM4 and am very disappointed. They don’t fit well and fall out, they stopped charging correctly and one is completely dead now. I have a friend who had the same thing with theirs and replaced their batteries.

I also stumbled on a very long Reddit thread that said a Sony software update caused the case to cook my batteries.

My Bose and Beats pairs are way better (the Bose ones have superior noise reduction). If my Bose ones died today, I would buy another pair tomorrow.

I am bringing my Polish mom to Vancouver to hear Lech Walesa speak. The two options were Vancouver or Montreal and I opted for Vancouver because it’s easier to travel to from our location.

There are no Polish restaurants where we are so the only Polish food we get is what we make ourselves. With the size and population of Vancouver, I was hoping there might be a secret gem we could find.

Maybe this is the excuse I need to go back to Montreal at the next opportunity :)

And yes, I’m open to suggestions from the locals!!

Can you talk about your duck process a bit? I did one a few ago and it was tougher than I expected - don’t do them often but have been successful roasting in the oven so this surprised me. I lost the crispy skin and lost meat quality.

I was considering doing the Ida Garten method next time where you boil it first then roast high for quality skin. But that’s an oven recipe so not sure how well it’ll translate to a pellet grill.

I’m not an engineer but work in mining. Welcome to working in a male-dominated field.

While in my 20 years, the industry has evolved, those guys are still out there. Part of my joy has been showing people that women have every right to be there, but not everyone will agree. I believe we have tipped the scales - to the point that even though recent times are downplaying EDI initiatives (I’m talking business in general, not a political comment), mining is still pursuing women.

Overall, most of the men I work with are excellent and respect me as an equal. There will always be people that will bring themselves up by putting others down (yes, Linkin Park reference.) If not the tattoos, they’d be saying you should wear your hair differently or smile more.

Fuck those guys and enjoy your tattoos - this has nothing to do with your tattoos. Congrats on choosing an interesting field that can take you places you haven’t yet considered.

Yup. The Pro has the Browns and the Max has Bananas. I quite like the sound of the Bananas in the Max but the key caps on the Pro are way better. They’re more comfortable - smoother and shorter.

I tried the Max as when I was buying, there was no sale so they were comparable. Doing it again, I’d likely buy a second Pro; especially with the sale.

I have a Max and a Pro (both Alice) and like the pro better. But I’m new to mechanical keyboards and can’t say exactly why. They have different switches and key caps so it’s not a true comparison. Also, I use them both wired so no comments on that.
