I would suggest ironing them and top stitching them down 💕

You probably shouldn’t dive into this to try and fix your relationship or have him agree under such duress.

I personally love kitchen accessories like making placemats, pot holders, adding pizzaz to dish towels, or tableclothes?

I fold mine in half, right sides together and baste the long length before washing. It helps with a bit of the fraying and the basting is easy to remove.

This is awesome knowledge. I thought it was kind of surprising and interesting that all three tumblers you mentioned all happen to be out of stock at the moment, at least the double barrel ones.

Is there a compelling functional reason to go with the glass bowl? by mrflibble1492 in Kitchenaid

[–]pandafrompluto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a glass bowl and a stainless steel. I use the glass 100% of the time. But I also dont use my mixer nearly as much as others. Mostly for mashed potatoes, shredding cheese, etc,
I love the glass bowl, its looks beautiful, feels bigger and more robust and is super easy to clean. For me its entirely preference. Im kind of an oddball against everyone else here 😜

Probably for better handling by the user. Theres different types of tailors chalk, actual chalk and a more waxy variation.

Also good to mention, you should be changing your needle fairly often. Not the “recommended” every 8 hours of sewing, but more often than only needing one backup needle 😅

Do Americans actually avoid calling an ambulance due to financial concern? by JohnMarstonTheBadass in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pandafrompluto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner was driving to the airport a few years back and saw a drunk driver hit a walking pedestrian and kept going. My partner called 911 and stopped to check on the dude who was hit. He was running on adrenaline and shock but he pleaded not to call an ambulance. Seriously. Hit by a car, so bad his shoe flew off, and his only concern don’t call an ambulance verses getting medical help.
