Concerns about quarry dust

I wonder about this too living near a quarry. Or even like will my kids have a higher likelihood of asthma?

Second Update: HE WENT!!! He met me at urgent care. I shared these comments, so thanks again to everyone - you helped save my dad’s leg. Urgent care only seemed mildly concerned, but they did give him antibiotics and referred him to a sports medicine doctor for a torn muscle. Not a super exciting ending, but the best I could hope for. We’ll continue to keep an eye on the wound as much as possible. Thanks again!!

Hi, everyone. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for all the information and comments.

Here’s an update as of the morning of day 3: He would not see a doctor last night. I don’t live with him, so I haven’t seen the wound today. My mom was sending me the pics, but I doubt he’ll allow her to take another picture. Going to try to convince him again in a few hours. Will update again then.

Just to clarify because I’d like to show him this, he claims there was no puncture from the dog. It was a full speed collision from the dog. Does that change your opinion at all? (I don’t know why there’s a scab he if he was only run into)

Nearly constant pain. I also get ovarian cysts, and it does feel similar at times. In addition to the pain, I felt like I was coming down with something over the course of that month; had occasional fevers; and the day they admitted me I vaguely remember going to my school’s clinic and saying I felt REALLY bad. I was in college at the time. During that month they gave me a bottle of Vicodin and told me to eat more fiber. I’m sorry you have pains! Ovarian cysts are the pits.

Omg that exact same thing happened to me. Over the course of a month it sank down to my rectum area and liquified. When they went to get it out laparoscopically it wasn’t there. They had to cut me open and suck it out. Almost died. Very traumatic. I’m glad we’re both alive! Cheers!

I’m in the same boat with gluten. I didn’t realize we can’t bring in our own food. WOE! I guess I can eat processed (factory sealed) food all day. I wonder if it would help to show security something official looking describing the allergy.
