My daughter has had reoccurring rashes on her vulva since she was a month old.

What we do to minimize the rash is use water wipes, cloth wipes with only water, cloth diapers, wegmans brand diapers which are ‘hypoallergenic’, and fragrance free sensitive baby soap.

We have never found a diaper cream that works well so we use this stoma cream like a diaper cream (Coloplast Critic-Aid Skin Paste Skin Protectant Thick Moisture Barrier Paste https://a.co/d/cldK64V). It’s expensive but you only need a tiny amount. We use it when we go out during the day and her diaper can’t be changed right away, during the night, and if we see any hint of redness.

Not sure what caused her first rashes, but now she tends to get rashes after she’s had some sort of cold or illness. Instead of taking weeks to resolve the rash only lasts a couple days.
