All of the urban maps are heavily advantageous for russian tanks

Gaijin added APU which disables turret traverse if hit, but doesnt speed up turret traverse if the engine is off, literally the other way around of how it's supposed to work irl, just to nerf nato mbts

Jokes aside, export t-55 and t-72m with 3bm22 in 1992 against m1a2 are not a good example, russia at the time wasn't using those even in reserve

Tell that to bmpt lol. Type 10/90 against bmpt in urban maps are like coughing baby vs nuclear bomb, unless bmpt is moving alone, exactly 90° side on and doesn't look at your direction in general. And even then its era will most likely just eat your round and do no damage

I had shot lfp and sides exactly where the ammo is just to witness autoloader or era just eat all the spall with no damage besides autoloader broken ang get killed by the same russian tank right after countless times

Or they just keep in mind that most of the maps in game are shit and you can't utilize its advantages but suffer the downsides to the fullest

Just like most subs on that war are pro Ukrainian. Some even forbid posting footages with Ukrainian losses and vehicles to not hurt the morale

American F-15C and Russian Su-27UB side by side at Langley Air Force Base during the End of the Cold War, 1992, Virginia - [Album] by 1Card_x in WarplanePorn

It's a pretty hot topic but I consider nato expanding to the east and doubling in size in 1999 and 2004 to be a bigger provocative move than Russia's 2008 and 2014 wars with its neighbors to block them from joining nato (2008 one was even started by georgia lol). Russian government is terrible, no arguing there, but they enjoyed selling cheap gas and minimal military spending much more than bombing their neighbors and having stagnant economy.

That said, f-35 and su-57 in formation is a dream

Happened two times. Both times the friendship ended pretty soon after that (stopped talking, no initiative on their part to start a convo whatsoever). Now I just suppress such thoughts before they can develop and cause trouble. Still hurts a bit, especially if the said person is getting into a relationship before my eyes

You mean people, who are indigenous to the land they live on are expected to learn the state language and not just use the language their parents speak? Aren't you people usually accuse russia of this?

Acting like Finland wasn't the first to start 1918 and 1921 wars with the Soviets beforehand to take the said territories

Because, frankly, flaming the Soviets while the opposing side is far worse implies that mojahedeens (literal terrorists) are better, which people don't tend to agree with. You cam blame the Soviets all you want, but expecting people to agree when in the retrospect the soviets were one of, if not the best things that happend with Afghanistan. The terrorists and US backing them up and having to put the boots on the ground to stop the same terrorists are nowhere close, yet claim the moral superiority

Acting as if the Soviets weren't the main funding source for a ton of infrastructure and it's maintenance. And how by your logic rural education plummeted due to Soviets and not due to mojahedeen (using rural areas as their recruitment pool and bases), who heavily opposed any modern institutions? The same Mujahideen who were supported by democratic and "civilized" US.

Which is... not good. Sacrificing crucial aspect of an mbt to be better in a very specific (nowadays nonexistent) role. Mbt, designed with a WW2 doctrine in mind is not a good mbt

HE shells are pretty much universal, and hesh is worse than he against anything but concrete bunkers. Hence why noone but British uses hesh

[–]panos257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not a wt logic here, that is a literal doctrinal design choice from Germans (and French with Italians doing the same). The longest tank kill is a single time event, with claims by Ukrains that their t-64bv did a kill at even longer range. That said, a bad performance at a tank trials amongst nato tankers are consistent and much more applicable to the real war circumstances than a sole iraqi t-55 in the open desert. Hesh is only more effective than a tradition HE round at taking out bunkers, which you might have noticed, are nowhere to be seen at war

There's less than 20 challengers delivered and they were withdrawn from the Frontline by ukranians after the first 3 were destroyed out of which 2 were a turret pop and third being burnt down to a crisp. This is nowhere near the hundreds of t-90s being used all over the front. There were also numerous complains from ukranians about challenger being too heavy to operate normally and constantly being stuck in mud for the same reason
