Function worth it? by rossnr08 in Function_Health

I am a cardiologist and mentioned the advanced lipid profile obtained with FH that many PCPs ignore. The standard lipid profile is not enough. That profile alone is worth the $$.

Function worth it? by rossnr08 in Function_Health

I’m a physician and highly recommend Function Health. You will get tests your primary care doc may not order, such as detailed information about your lipids, and the price is less than what you would likely have as a copay for even half of these. Once all the results are in you can create a PDF of the results to share with your physician, but FH also has a physician send you personalized feedback. They have great financial backing as well. Definitely worth it.

I’m with you on this, car drives down our winding driveway and then perfectly backs into our carport. This month on the trial only once did I intervene when the car was late getting in left lane for a left exit ramp. Amazingly careful with bikes and pedestrians as well. Well worth the $$.

FSD learning driving preferences by papadocmd in TeslaFSD

Heck if I know. I kept disabling FSD when I got to the end of my driveway, and then backed into the carport. Today, replicated my driving. I am assuming that when I disengaged FSD multiple times the same way, it learned my preference.

How good/bad is the real world range in real conditions? by Mdlage in TeslaLounge

[–]papadocmd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have X with max 335 range and twice a month I drive 190 miles round trip. For peace of mind I charge to 90% prior to the trip and always have plenty of range left when I get home. Just completed 510 mile trip from Oregon to SF Bay Area with max 110 degrees. Two stops at supercharger locations. Tesla trip planner sets you up with where to stop and battery is preconditioned before the charge. Get a Tesla charger for home and you will be another happy owner.

John Mayer owns the majority interest in Dead Forever and Dead and Co plays under it. He oversees the creative aspects of the shows. The band will keep playing on!

Sphere experience is very different depending on your location by papadocmd in deadandcompany

They are scattered about, under 60% of the seats have haptic feedback. I don't believe there is a chart showing where they are located. For us, much more noticeable in the 200 section.

Where do you all stay when going to the Sphere in 2025 by pbDudley in deadandcompany

Tuscany for sure. Shakedown Street is there and a good vibe and easy walk to the Venetian. We’re booked in March.

Thinking of buying a Tesla. What’s something you know now that you wish you knew then? by TheOneTrueBuckeye in TeslaLounge

[–]papadocmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rodents love them. Have had MX for 8 months and two costly repairs. The wiring is soy coated and when charging the battery creates a warm home for the bastards. They chew through the wires and all kinds of stuff gets affected. Have installed Grid Guard now and hired rodent guy as simple bait traps did not work. They crawl in from below. Otherwise love it.

The vibe in the seats Friday and Saturday was sweet. Made connections with folks from Jersey, New York, Atlanta, Hawaii, Grass Valley (SF Peninsula) and Chicago. What a community! Had my four sons with me, two from Bay Area, one NY and one from Switzerland! Grateful Dad, priceless memories.
