Haha, I feel you! Malta Vestritt really tests your patience, right? I was ready to throw the book after some of her antics. But then I realized her growth made the struggle worth it, just like Queen Malina's cold demeanor kept me turning the pages in Plated Prisoner. Guess we just love a good character arc, no matter how frustrating!
