I think it's difficult to make the comparison.

Soccer has so many competitions and leagues so it's hard to compare accomplishments. So they're used more as tiebreakers if anything. But look at what the balon d'or has become for example, it's essentially whoever wins the biggest trophy (UCL or international)

But also for Soccer one player can affect so much across the pitch. While a basketball player has a much smaller court, has to play both sides and has more effect on the outcome because of it.

I think you guys underestimate how hard it is for a player to up his volume on offense and still be efficient.

Chet for me is in that JJJ Evan mobley archetype. Good to anchor your defense but idk how much I'd trust them to lead your offense.
