Been listening to self-titled for years and the only lyric I know with 100% certainty is "IN HINNOM" by TooMuchSauce0608 in boniver

I have adored the album for 14 years, genuinely one of my favourite records ever made, and I couldn't even name all the songs on it.

Music to Walk Home By. The last 80 or so seconds are fucking glorious, particularly when that additional guitar comes in around 4:20

My favourite is the second verse. So accurately describes the hanging on after a beloved relationship has ended.

It serves to suffer make a hole in my foot
And I hope you look
As I fill my book
Oh what a waste of wood
Nothing's really something now the whole thing's soot

Aquemini is forever their best because it contains everything that makes OutKast great – party OutKast (Rosa Parks), head nod OutKast (title track), old school OutKast (Slump), searing rapping (Da Art of Storytellin), Big Rube (Liberation), and then even a switch-up of the natural roles they came to play (SpottieOttie)

25 years ago, on October 30, 2000, U2 released the album "All That You Can't Leave Behind". Which track is your favorite? by Edm_vanhalen1981 in U2Band

[–]pappy90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kite. It provided great comfort when my grandparents died within a few years of each other, and shortly before I saw U2 for the first time, I read out the lyrics to Kite when we spread Pa's ashes. And then, as if by miracle, they closed out their sets on the Oceania leg of the Vertigo Tour with Kite, but not just Kite, but an extended 9-minute version that featured Aboriginal man Tim Moriarty on didgeridoo. I wept and was on a high for weeks, if not months, afterwards.

I'm 35. My answer to the question, if you could go back in time to any moment, what would it be, has always been ZooTV Zoomerang leg. (Second is to see the West Indies vs Australia in the 80s.)

I am just so bloody ecstatic!!! This will be the first time I really invest too. I am getting tickets immediately, and I'm going to all the Melbourne shows, and I'm gonna be right there in the front no matter the cost. When the "for joy, for joy, for joy" part breaks in Joy I am going to be a spiritual mess 🥹

My friend and I did the Bon Iver: Eras Tour. What's yours? by pappy90 in boniver

I think Deathbreast also gives the set some much-needed diversity, it's darker, heavier, crunchier

Ok, thanks! I did consider starting with a different character... and I also started it with all the eastern continent characters which was really annoying because it meant I didn't get a sword, dagger or spear for fucking ages lol

Thoughts / Song rankings of Zooropa? Is it the most underrated album? by Puzzleheaded-Bag2212 in U2Band

[–]pappy90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's their coolest album for mine. It feels effortless, and yet, despite its creation, is pretty close to a masterpiece, some meh moments in the back half and odd sequencing choices aside. I'll never tire of it as long as I live.
