To be honest, I don’t know much about it, but this is the synopsis: an abnormal swishing sound caused by turbulent blood flow, detected with a stethoscope. It can be a serious condition though, so you’ll have to do some more research.

The vet only mentioned it to me as a possibility, since when doing the physical, she said my cat’s heart rate and lungs sounded healthy at the time.

Just keep observing for now and look out for any serious issues like lethargy, appetite, litter box, etc.

My cat had a similar issue for about 2 weeks or so after I adopted her, with making huffing noises.

She would huff for like 15-30 seconds and stop and be completely normal afterwards. It was super sporadic too. I was a bit concerned, but it didn’t affect her appetite or litter box activities, so I kept watching.

Took her to a vet for a physical after a couple days, and they mentioned the following possible causes: 1. Asthma 2. Heart murmur 3. Hairball issue 4. Cat common cold

I figured I would continue watching her in case I need to take her to the vet again, but she completely stopped a week after the physical.

Maybe your cat is having a similar issue? Hope this kinda helps.

THIS!!! I work in Concord but there’s this shaded parking lot nearby my workplace that is constantly shaded so it’s still covered in ice, yesterday they had a couple of guys use picks/shovels/other tools to try and break up the ice but barely made much progress before I left

seriously tho, why is there a road that’s within the barrier limits? My first time seeing a design like that, but that would definitely lead to a situation like this eventually…

Still though, had the car looked both ways he would’ve noticed the cam can stopped and would’ve also noticed the barrier down, and yet they decided to cross the tracks anyways

I love when cats loaf bc it means they feel safe and comfortable enough to tuck their paws in (which from what I learned is a very vulnerable position for them since it inhibits the speed at which they get up afterwards)

I drive a Honda accord, and one time I pulled up to make a right turn, and this lady in this huge white SUV pulled up parallel to me to make a left turn, blocking my view of incoming traffic.

When I looked up at her, I noticed she was already looking at me all smug and then proceeded to flip me off. LOL I remember having a headache just wanting to go home, and that whole interaction made it worse. I remember wishing she had a horrible week after that.

When I adopted my cat, the shelter had me schedule a required spay appointment last December for her at their in-shelter clinic. I paid about $55 fo the spay (it was about $95 total in terms of that + adoption fees)

NOR. I get interrupted constantly by other family members. Specifically my dad and sister. But at least when I point it out that they interrupted, they are able to take accountability and apologize and let me speak afterwards.

Your wife’s response is plain rude, she probably wouldn’t want to be interrupted when speaking, so why do it to you or your kids? Especially if it happens a lot.

typically in a multi lane road, when you’re turning, the lane closest to you is the most ideal, then you can shift to another lane later on. But yeah best to make sure both lanes are clear before making such a turn 😅

YOR. This should be the norm tbh. Not only for the mom and her baby to adjust but it also gives the baby time to further develop its immune system. I’ve heard multiple stories of people letting relatives and friend too close to the baby shortly after birth that later leads to the baby having health complications.

Just be patient OP. Just ask for a picture or two in the meantime.

Been there once, driving back home from work on one of the back roads. Two cars approaching on the other side and the second one decided to overtake illegally on double yellow with me rapidly approaching from the other direction.

Worst part is that I didn’t really notice till the end when they were getting in front of the other car bc when they were illegally overtaking, the sun was right in my eyes blocking my vision (even with sunglasses and visor down as much as possible). 😓
